one; when you were perceptible

i remember the first time i saw you.

of course i saw you many times before that, but this was the first time i actually paid attention to you—the first time you were visible to me.

it was seventh grade, around october. we were in PM home room and that day, our teacher was absent and there was no substitute there. some of my peers had already left after five minutes of waiting in the home room because they had places to be.

i was seated at my chair, staring down at my thin coat when i heard a few classmates gasp and whisper. the rest of them were oblivious to what was happening like i was.

then i looked up.

you were on top of one of your friends, strangling them. your face had a murderous look as you stared at your poor friend.

at first, i thought you guys were just playing around cause that's what you guys usually did.

i looked down at my coat again and studied the patterns of the stitching. i guess i was still waiting for a teacher to come and send you and your friend to the dean, but that never happened.

suddenly, something hit me.

i looked up and my heart beat against my chest in a quick pace. i swear it was going to tear through my chest any moment.

you and your friend were now wrestling. your guys' hands were on one another's shoulders as you barreled through everyone until you guys had hit me.

by now, i was the only one still seated.

my friend who sat in the row next to me, pulled me out of my seat, quickly, in an attempt to help me get away from you.

i watched in anticipation as you and your "friend" swung punches at each other, not caring that we were all eagerly watching the scene play out.

soon, more of my classmates began to leave since it was already 2:30 and they needed to go home. a few of us stayed and watched.

by this point, you guys had parted and you were smirking a little.

you grabbed the chair nearest to you and swung it at your friend.

he flinched and fell, a loud thump echoed throughout the room.

the rest of us widened our eyes and ran out of the room.

i drew rigid breaths as a result of fear.

alyssa (one of my classmates) and i looked at each other and shared a face.

then we noticed our science teacher, who was across the hall, and waved at him in a frantic manner.

he didn't notice how scared we were (which was understandable since he was at the end of the hall, obviously) and only waved back at us as he turned away and continued to push his cart full of microscopes and worksheets, into his room.

we sighed and waved even more worriedly which gladly caught his attention.

we screamed across the hall. "please help us! clark and luke are fighting."

he immediately stopped and ran over over to our classroom.

he ran in and pulled the boys apart. then he told us all to leave.

the next day you guys weren't there. you guys were suspended for a week.
