"NOOOO! Lewis just hang on!" a voice yelled deep within a cave, trying to hold onto a person almost falling to their doom. The person, now named Lewis, had fear and panic in his eyes, his heart pumping the adrenaline fast through his body. "Arthur! Please don't let me go! I don't wanna die!" Lewis yelled back trying to grasp the edge of the cliff and failing to do so. A freakishly tall kitsune with 9 tails grabbed the two from the edge of the cliff, moving them out to the front of the glowing emerald cave. Suddenly a girl covered in blue everywhere except her pink glasses ran to the two boys, whose health was steadily declining, especially to the one in orange & yellow bleeding from his missing left arm called 911.
As the two hovered over Arthur trying to stop the blood flow as best as they could, the ambulance and police soon made their way. Making their way around the three the paramedics grabbed Arthur and put him in the back of the truck, while the other two were questioned and when finished drove off to the hospital as well. Driving towards the hospital, Vivi and Lewis sat in the back of the ambulance as they looked at Arthur with worried looks. As soon as they made it there, Arthur was then rushed to surgery needing a blood transfusion and plenty of stitches.
"Lewis will Arthur be okay" Vivi looked up at Lewis with a sigh, her face in deep thought. " I don't know Viv, but one thing is for sure," Lewis said with anger etching in his voice " He better have answers to what happened in that cave".
Arthur P.O.V
'Pathetic Arthur, you seriously thought you would be anything to us after what happened?" Lewis said with his back turned to me. 'Lewis I told you was I possessed, I couldn't control anything at that time!' I shouted back as I started to feel tears coming down my cheeks. ' Arthur just know one thing,' I heard a voice say walking towards Lewis. ' You will never be forgiven because you are a pathetic, wimpy, whiny brat' she said as I got on my knees and started crying. As I cried I felt something rough and wet at my cheek, gaining consciousness I went to go see what it was.
"Ugh! My pounding head" I groaned quietly for the first thing I saw was the bright lights in my eyes. I looked around my surroundings to see beeping monitors to the left of me and my right and I looked down at myself to see a blue gown on me. Trying to process everything I remembered yesterday's event and I froze. Looking down to my left arm I started to panic. IT was Gone. MY WHOLE ENTIRE ARM WAS GONE. I heard a whimper on the side of my bed and looking down it was Mystery. Mystery jumped in my bed and nuzzled my chest and I cried in his soft fur. I heard the door open, seeing Vivi and Lewis covered in bandages coming in the room not so badly injured.
Lewis P.O.V
I heard sniffling coming from Artie's room, meaning that he was awake, but crying. Vivi led the way into his room, and the first thing I saw was his arm was missing. ' That probably was what the sniffling about, the realization he doesn't have his arm. " Hey Artie how are you holding up, do you need any assistance with anything?" I asked seeing the predicament he was in. "N-no I-I'm fine, j-just stunned." He said with deep breaths. "Alright, we just want to ask you a few questions, if that's alright right now?" Viv asked.
I saw him hesitate just a moment before looking straight up to us with a nervous look on his face. "Okay." was all he said. "What happened back Arthur, please if you do remember to tell me?" Vivi begged Arthur, grasping at his only hand. " I don't know what happened Viv, I was at first behind Lewis while he peered over the ledge of the cliff and then I was possessed by something," Arthur shivered as he rubbed his palm over the blanket. " Then, at the next moment I had pushed Lewis over the edge and I never meant to push him so I grabbed him at the last moment, but my other arm was torn clean off by..." I saw Arthur glance at Mystery, who had put his head in his paws.
I started to get angry when he said that he 'Didn't mean to' push me off that cliff like it was a regular old accident. " What do you mean Artie! I nearly lost my life because of you!" I yelled pointing at him with a shaking finger. " I'm fucking serious Lewis! I heard a voice in my head telling me to push you, but I would never do that!" Arthur looked at me with fresh tears running down his cheeks. "Well Artie, I don't think I can ever fucking trust you after that stunt you pulled at the cave," I huffed heatedly "I could've lost everything, Arthur! My parents, my siblings, my girlfriend, my whole damn life that would've been waiting for me!" I yelled now seething with anger. " You probably did it because you were jealous of our relationship weren't you?" I asked him while he looked down rubbing his hands over Mystery's fur. He didn't say anything before Vivi got up from the bed looking at him disapprovingly.
Vivi P.O.V
I stood up from Arthur's bed, not believing him in any shape of form that he would kill Lewis just to get to me. "Artie," I started to say " I don't think I can forgive you either after what happened in that cave," I said with a disapproving look on my face. " What! Vivi! I'm telling you the truth that I would never break up your relationship with Lewis!" he exclaimed towards us, throwing his hand in the air. " As soon as we get home, Arthur pack up your things and move out of the apartment for we do not allow a killer to stay with us," I said, looking up to him he never answered. I grabbed Lewis hand before walking out the door, turning the lights off in his room closing the door.
Mystery P.O.V
' I couldn't believe my ears to what Vivienne had just said to Arthur, the Vivienne I knew and loved was no longer there.' I looked up to Arthur, licking his face a soothing comfort for that was what I could only do. " I'm sorry I did this to you, Arthur, if only I had gotten to you sooner, this would have never happened because of me," I said. I was suddenly pulled into a tight hug from a crying Arthur for that was what he could only do right now, crying. " It's okay Mystery, you saved both of our lives and that is the only thing I'm thankful for right now." he sobbed, wiping his runny red nose on his sleeve. Minutes after crying I felt him loose his grasp, and fall back on the pillow he laid on. Pulling the covers up over him, I snuggled to closer to Arthur to watch as he slept to a dreamless slumber.
I prayed for my life as the powerful 9 tailed demon fox, Mystery, that I'll protect you no matter what happens Arthur Kingsmen. Till death do us apart, I will forever be your Guardian.
