It's all in a days time...
Within a day my mother had kicked me out to live on my own. She provided me with everything I would need and left. She even had all my stuff sent and put up at the apartment before I could get there.
I sat back in the leather seats of the car and cried silently. I was outside of the school all alone I would be going to my apartment afterwards. I heard the car door open and someone plop inside.
"Hi Emma"He said in a low voice.
"Gavin..."I stuttered.
"What's wrong?"He asked,lightly touching my hand.
"I'm pregnant and my mom kicked me out."I sobbed.
Gavin was silent for a few moments before he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly.
"It's okay Em. I'll be here for you and my child. I'm so sorry"He said,his voice cracking.
"Why are you being so nice about it?"I asked, I laid my head against his chest after a few minutes and sighed.
"Because I don't want to turn out like my father a dead beat and a burn out."He said lightly.
He paused before sighing and forcing me to look at him.
"I thought that that night in Paris would be just a one time thing. But ever since then I couldn't stop thinking about you. You Emma mean something to me and maybe this baby is my way of seeing it."He whispered. He placed a light kiss on my forehead and got out the car.
I sat there shocked that he even grew a pair to say that too me let alone tell me he'd be here for the baby. I drove off to my grandma's house if there was one person I could talk to it was her.
"I'll purchase all your medicine for you sweetie. You just sit back and take care of yourself you're carrying my great grandchild."She joked.
"yes grandma. but--"I said.
"No buts just call Tilly and Jane invite them over and have a little house warming party don't forget to invite Gavin. "She nodded at me before sending me out the door.
"Here take this kitchen set to start you off I'll get Joe to bring some more later"she said, placing the box in my hand.
The apartment was great it was huge and enough room for 3 people that I liked. I turned one of the rooms into a nursery all by myself. It took alot of work and some time off of school too finish it but I did it.
"Keep your eyes closed Tilly, Jane and Gavin no looking"I smiled and took them by their arms leading them into the nursery.
"Kay, open them now"I smiled and sat in the rocking chair that my grandmother brought me.
"Oh my.... baby this is so adorable."Tilly said,gasping in marvel at my work. Jane came over and hugged me.
"You guys will you come with me tomorrow I find out the gender of the baby"I mumbled.
"Well I haven't missed any of the ultrasounds thus far I'm not going to miss this one. That's my baby girl in there"Gavin said,lightly touching my stomach. I jolted it sent thrills through my body but I pushed them away.
"You think it's a girl"Tilly said, sitting on the floor.
"Hell yes I want a girl. So I can spoil her and protect her."Gavin said. I watched the three of them talk and as they did I noticed something in his eyes. He truely did care for me and this baby I smiled happily and sighed.
