Evelyn's POV
"I miss you when are you coming back?!?" I complained to my best friend Ari, who was currently in her annual trip to Texas with her family.
"I miss you too, I'll be back soon. You know my mom hates our cold Chicago weather."
Realizing how cold it was I pulled my tan trench coat over my burgundy knit sweater and too thin leggings.
"Well I got to go class is in twenty so gotta blast"
"Oh poo well I'll be back home soon. Love you."
"Love you too Ari."
BEEP (dial tone)
I walk through th big brown wood fires and head straight to the bathroom. Ever since my boyfriend Evan and I broke up, I have been a little sad so I just think while I surf Instagram.
Ding! (My text tone)
ARI: maya just asked me what masturbate was LOL

I locked my phone and walked into- SMACK! Right into someone.

"It's ok, I'm fine." He said " I'm Logan by the way"

I walk through the front door of my house and set down my backpack.
"I'm home!!!"
No answer. Sweet. I thought, the house to myself. I think for a moment about what Ari said about masturbating, I think against it. It's seem weird. Someone outside knocks lightly on the door. I open the door and I see that guy... Logan! That's his name, at my front door.
" I don't mean to be weird or stalker like but you dropped you notebook and so I kinda followed you home."
He holds out my red notebook that I actually really needed for that social studies test on Thursday.
"Oh my god thank you I actually really needed that. I suck at social studies."
"I can tutor you if you want"
"Um sure do you wanna come in?"

After he came in we studied and talked I was actually starting to maybe have a little crush on him. I mean he was cute and funny and we have a lot in common. Example my favorite band TØP. !!!!! Did I mention he was super cute too?
"So Evelyn, um do you maybe wanna get coffee sometime?"
"Definetly! How bout tommorow?"
"That's great!"
I started to put my books away in my backpack and turned around and he grabbed my hand and flipped me around to face me towards him. "Is he gonna kiss me?" I thought to myself.
"There's just something about you ..."
"Yes?"
"You are different because..."
"Just tell me what it is!!"
"You have food in your teeth"
"Oh my god! You could have just told me!" I shouted as I punched in the arm. He didn't seem fazed but it was fun. I think we are on a friend basis now. He walked on the other room to use the bathroom when my mom came in... with some random guy?!
"Ev, this is the guy from work I was telling you about! Ev, this is Dave, Dave this is my daughter Evelyn!"
"Nice to meet you Evelyn" he said with sweet smile
"Nice to meet you too!"
Logan walked back into the room and stopped and stared at Dave. Dave looked at him with the same confused look.
"Logan?" He asked.
"Dad?"
