Narrator's POV:
Maria sniffled her tears away laying next to Oscar doleful. She had a sting in her heart and it was aching like an earthquake as if something is about to occur.
"Are you ready?" Michael lumbered over to Maria.
She stared at Daisy, Ariel, and Duke and smiled palpably. She gave them a acknowledgment nod.
"I'll be back soon.." She said gloomingly. Maria turned to her side and pat Bella with comfort.

"Let's go!" Tommy motioned a hand sign leading his gang into the forest.
The group nodded carrying in their weapons standing on gaurd.
"If you see any creature, kill it! With no doubt" Tommy shouted.
"Yes sir" They shouted back.
They all spread up into three groups running to each side of the eerie forest.

"How will we take him there?" Maria asked wistfully, looking over at Michael.
"We—"
"DON'T MOVE!"
Maria and Michael froze, they turned behind their backs only to find humans. With weapons that they have never seen before.
Bella started barking vivaciously.
Michaels eyes shot open as he stared at them infuriatedly, his heart thumped in distraught. He gave tensed eyes to the men that stared into his soul.
Maria couldn't believe her eyes. She stood there terrified, her heart descending into her stomach. She gulped down gazing at the foreign men.
"Hands Up!" One of the younger men shouted.
Both of them stood there without listening to a word he said. Maria glanced over at Michael only in disappointment. He looked back at her ashamed yet disturbed.
"I said hands up!" The young boy demanded.
"Hey Mike, what are you doing here?" Another middle aged men asked.
Michael didn't answer, he looked away sympathetically.
"Y-You... know them..?" Maria asked astounded.
Michael stood there quiet.
"Who's the hot chick you got there?" One of the younger boys smirked.
That's when Michael turned towards him enraged. He gave him a alarming look and the young boy backed up.
"Chill man, I was only joking" He shrugged.
Ariel, Daisy, and Duke suddenly came out of the woods also in shock.
Ariel hissed, Daisy pounded on the ground, and Duke blowed his trunk loudly.
"Is that? An elephant?" One men asked.
"And a chimp?" Another one yelled.
