She Came Back -MinHyuk- Pt. 1

MinHyuk POV
It has been years ever since my childhood friend has been away from Seoul, Korea. She has moved to Canada for college, we haven't texted in months because she needed to stay on her studies. I am here in a Cafe to not drink coffee no, I work at the Cafe. I serve even the meanest people in this city, the nicest people are just old lady's wanting a cup of tea with some chewy oatmeal cookies. She is going to college while I dropped out of college and I am working at a Cafe. As I was about to give this man his coffee my phone dinged.
I gave the man his coffee and ran to the back.
I shouted, "I'm on break."
I took off the green thing that wraps around my waist and protects me from spills (just founded out it was called an apron). I whipped my phone out and checked out what was going on. It was Scarlet, my childhood friend the girl who never answered to my text from months ago. I saw my last text 'are you free?'
She texted me back, 'yea, now I am, well I just got my Masters Degree in Engineering.'
'Wow, so that is what you were going away for?' I texted back.
The gray dots means that she is typing, it gives me anxiety! Sometimes it disappears and I panic to wonder where that person has gone.
'Well actually I am coming back to Seoul tonight, I just got off my second to last flight!' She texted.
'Cool!' I texted back.
'Can you pick me up, I don't have a ride or a home I can stay in.' She texted me.
'Hey, you wanna stay at my place? It's just an apartment its a bit small but it is comfortable.'
Scarlet hasn't replied back yet but I am confident she can get back at me as soon as she can. I waited and waited.
'yeah! Thanks for offering!' Scarlet texted me back.
I sighed in relief and started to think about what I should text back. My thumbs started to move very slowly.
'oh okay what time?' I sent.
'maybe in the afternoon at 1:39. But how are you doing now?'
' oh okay then, you choose if my life is good right now. I work at a cafe and have the lowest wage possible and I just got ranked up from the cleaning guy to the server.' I sent her.
' well I guess it's not as bad as I am doing right now but hold on I am boarding!'  Scarlet texted.
I shut off my phone as I got up to work some more.
