The last few days have past and the day has come…. I'm going to die to day. This camp is the last thing anyone could ever want.
“Come on caeon!!” I hear from down stairs
“ One sec!!” I yell at my dad who must be waiting the door. He would just love to watch me go. I grab my suitcase and run down the stairs abut hear my phone go off again. It's most likely just cc anyway, the bish can wait. Im met by my mother at the bottom of the stairs. She stares me dead in the eye and says
“I love you son, try to have some fun
As i struggle to escape the mom death grip, i manage to let out at least one word of affection before breaking free. Once released from my gene donors grip of ‘boy don't mess up’, i walk to the door and practically crawl my way out…..god i didn't wanna go
I came to sudden realisation that this was real when my dad's car door slammed shut and i saw him beside me. We rode in a unusual silence. Yet the awkward endeavour was soon over when we reached a strange shack like building in the downtown area.
“Well this is it son” my dad says. “Ur already registered so just give them your access card so they can identify you.” He says before handing me a card made of thick plastic.
Fully aware of the fact that this was the last time id see my father till the summer ended, i put my hand on the sun-heated door handle and pulled it. The car door opened to warm unairconditioned air i was met with. My father and i said our quick goodbyes, he was never one for “father-son moments”, i stepped out of the car and watched it speed off into the distance.
Soon, after standing there for a few moments just thinking about what my summer may hold, i walk into the wooden building. The building was surprisingly cold. But only for a second. Soon, he showed up. A boy. A… unique boy.“Hi there! Im darian! Nice to meet you!” the boy said with a huge smile
“uh...uh.. hi…” i nervously reply
“Are you ok? Did i scare you? I'm sorry… i get hyper when i meet new people” the boy said looking at the ground. As if he was ashamed of his energy
“No! No.. i mean yeah, i'm ok. Don't be sorry, it's nice to mean you darian! You didn't scare me, i'm just unsure what to do at this point… i've never been to a camp before… could you help me?” i say warmly to comfort the boy.
Darian’s face lit up. He giggles as if he was a kid getting told how cute they are. His smile seemed so perfect. I guessed i was just now realizing how this boy looked.. his hair was shaggy brown hair that almost to his eyes. He had light green eyes.... like i've personally never seen before. He was-- “hey, uh kid, are you even listening anymore?” i hear the boy say.
“huh? What? Oh i'm sorry, i got lost in thought. And oh, my name is caeson by the way” i say honestly feeling bad. This kid was trying to help me and here i am examining him like he was a cool animal at the zoo
“oh, that's ok!” he says with a small giggle. “here, come on! I'll just take you through registration instead of telling you what to do.” the boy claims right before grabbing my hand
Instead of just grabbing the outside of my hand… he link his fingers in mine… and then took me through the registration process. Not letting go once… wow...To be continued
Told ya it would be more interesting. Tell me what you think. Does caeson and darian have a chance? Idk, guess we'll find out when my lazy self actually writes another chapter lol- Jacksen
