CHAPTER 4

Here I was in my biology class without any trouble till now, sitting as I had yesterday. The only change was that I and Daniel were chatting about going to the club tomorrow .
And as I was about to calm down, there he came. As usual his jerky self.

He came to my table with a evil smirk plastered on his face.

" Hey Aphrodite don't you think you forgot something that day? "

I gave a bored expression .

"you forgot this",he continued while removing something from behind him. Before I could make out what , he took it out and poured a whole bottle of ink on my dress.

Fortunately I was wearing a black top.
Daniel stood up and said in a defensive tone," please don't! She didn't know about you. "

Eric turned to Daniel he's evil smirk never leaving his face." Daniel? Am I right? "

Daniel's expressions changed to terror.

"wait, wait, wait, what was the talk about you? " he gave a thoughtful expression and then as if he remembered something he was trying to remember, he said, "yes! I remember. You're the gay who's roommate transferred after knowing the terible truth about you. Did you tell Aphrodite about you being a gay? Or do you fear that she won't turn out to be like the girls that give you company? If you are left alone again? Anyways now that she knows maybe she'd realise how foolish she has been to be your friend. "

Daniel looked like all the blood had drained from his face.

I stood up, clothes soaking and gave Eric a death glare. "just shut your mouth or else I'll slap-shut you ." my voice felt odd to my own ears.

But he again smirked that idiotic smirk of his. "Don't you believe me? Why don't you ask your so called friend if it's true. And nobody shushes me. Just get that in yo-" he was left mid sentence cause I had reached the peak of my patience and without thinking, slapped him straight across his face. He looked mad. But I was madder.

"I don't care if Daniel a gay. All I know that he's been a really great friend and it won't change just because a jerk like you want's it to. I wonder if you even know what true friends can do for each other. Cause you don't seem to have one. " I said eyeing the two boys besides him.

He smirked yet again but his fave looked what? Pained?

"you're some fun for me this year. " and then he left. I sat in my bench and huffed then looked at Daniel deciding to explain that it was alright. But when I turned, he was gaping at me. Then I noticed the whole class was gaping at me.

" Look Daniel its-" I started but was cut off cause Daniel was hugging me. So tightly that my breathing was hard. "Da-Daniel I ca-cant breathe. "
I said and he immediately withdrew with a apologetic look.

"you were cool there. Thanx for helping me. "he smiled and I returned it.

At lunch, everybody made way for me. It felt weird. After getting my tray, I started towards my friends when a boy came running towards me and pushed me making me fall with my tray on my clothes. I had changed into my spare dress after the ' pain in the ass' incident. And now they were dirty again. The boy who had crashed into me looked down at me and said " never mind. "that was all! No sorrys?!

Then I heard the laugh the one that had now got on my nerves.

Eric Night

It didn't take a genius to make me know that the boy was someone Eric had semt.

Totally pissed I took off to my locker. I opened it to find it full of rotten eggs. All my books and clothes were dripping of egg. It was sniking annoyingly. Some girls passing by whispered something to each other amd started running away laughing. I locked my locker and sat there pulling my knees to my chest. I closed my eyes trying to push the erg to cry.

I heard footsteps and looked up to find Sofy. She smiled at me encouragingly and sat next to me. She pushed a bag in my hands and gave me a side hug. It felt good that there was someone for me. Then without saying a word she left. I opened the bag and found a blue dress probably one of hers and an apple. I was eyeing curiously when the bell rang and announced the end of lunch.

I smiled at her thoughtfulness and went to the bathroom to change.

Rest of the day passed out in easily and when the bell rang at the last lecture, my phone buzzed and I saw the caller's name. It was Linda that reminded me about the club.

I stepped out in the parking and waited for Linda.My phone buzzed and I took out to see who was texting me.

I unlocked the screen to see an unknown number. The message said 'look out' I didn't get it first but then I heard two cars racing. I stepped forward and two car went past me. In a kind of threatening manner. I stood there paralysed due to this sudden shock.

I turned around at the sound of foot steps and turned around to see Eric. He smiled at me and said, " How's that? Tell me babe don't you regret slapping me now? "

Ignoring my fluttering stomach I said, " No I don't think so. "

He smiled wickedly and said, "really then why ate you shaking so much? "

I just babbled , " It's too hot here so I'm shaking with cold. "

I mentally cursed myself for saying such things.

He leaned a little closer. I could see his eyes clearly. They had some emotions I couldn't put into word. He's perfect lips smiled lightly and he said, " Falling for me already? Don't you know I'm the bad boy and you're the good girl? You and I can't be us. "

With that he left. I realised my breath that I didn't know I was holding and thought over what he said.

Did I fall for him? NO. Definitely not.

I told myself that I was being foolish and saw Linda's car come in view.
