Dying Love

Chapter 5

I had to go early to work, so I had my alarm at 6 AM. As soon as I heard it, I went out of bed and kissed Simon on the cheek. Luckily he didn't wake up, so I took some clothes and went out of the room. Angelo's school had free time this day, so I figured I'd take him with me. I quietly went in his room and took him out of bed, I put some clothes on him, and we went out. In the car, he was sleeping. I was at The Maraccas cafeteria at 6.30 AM. I opened the door, and put the sign up. "OPEN" it said. Angelo wanted to help me, make the coffees. He was pretty good. He also, wanted to serve the coffee, but I was afraid he'd spill it, so I gave him the plates with cakes. He looked so happy, serving them. He told me, he wanted to work with me here, when he got older.

At 4 PM I was done, and then it was my other work. We went to our rehearsal house and all of our crew were there. I gave them the lyrics of my new song, that I wrote, and we tried to figure out the melody. Angelo sat with Railey, his babysitter, and he tried to hum the song.

A few hours later, we were invited to dinner at mom's. I met Simon there, he had to work all day long, so I think he was happy, I took care of Angelo. My mom looked happy as always. And since it was Christmas, she had a lot of christmas cakes. She gave Angelo some and turned the TV on for him. She came back to the kitchen and asked us about our relationship. "You know what mom, I actually think we're doing great." I said and smiled to Simon. He kissed me and I kissed back. I hadn't forgiven him totally, but I guess I should give him a second chance. Simon smiled to me, and held his arm around me.
