"I just can't" Crystal said
"What's wrong with you?" I asked
"Idk. I'm just so sad." Crystal replied
"Oh, c'mon. Just tell me everything. I'll keep your secret." I said
"Um, i'll tell you later, okay? I'm just too sad to tell it to you." Crystal said
"Okay, but please stop listening to that song." I said
"Okay. Do you have a plan for tonight?" Crystal asked
"oh yeah." I said
"Really? are you going out? Can i join you?" Crystal asked
"Well, someone asked me to have dinner. So..." I said
"OMG REALLY? WHO'S THAT? PLEASE TELL ME" Crystal shouted
"um it's toby." I said
"WHAT?!! GIRL, YOU ROCK!" Crystal screamed so loud
"Can you stop screaming?" I asked
"oh yeah sorry. I'm just so excited. I can't believe it." Crystal said
Suddenly some people screamed so loud. I turned my head.
"What's happening?" Crystal asked
"I don't know. let's check it out." I said
Crystal and i approached those people. I tried to find out why those people screamed so loud. I saw a guy and a girl in the middle of the crowd.
"Wait, is that toby?" I asked
Yes, it's him." Crystal replied
"Can we start it all again?" Toby asked that girl
"I don't know. I just broke up with my boyfriend. I need time." The girl said
Then that girl left him alone. She ran toward the park.
"Why did he say start it again?" I asked
"She's his ex. The rumor said that toby still loves her." Crystal said
"What? but...why don't you tell me about this?" I asked sadly
"You never ask me about this." Crystal replied
I ran into the class. Then i cried. After a few seconds, Crystal entered the class.
"Are you okay?" Crystal asked
"No, i'm not. You know it hurts." I said sadly
"Please stop crying!" Crystal said
"I can't. I thought he has no ex or something." I said
"I know you're so dissapointed. But, she's just his ex, right?" Crystal said
"Yeah, but he still loves her. I have no chance with him." I said
Crystal hugged me. She tried to make me stop crying.
*BELL RANG*
"Is it the time to go home?" I asked
"Yeah i guess." Crystal replied
"Does it mean we have no class?" I asked
"Yes!! Let's go home." Crystal replied
Crystal and I walked out of the class. I saw Toby and his ex in the hall. Then Toby walked toward me.
"hey. um, i guess we should cancel the dinner because i have something to do." Toby said
"oh yeah okay. Maybe next time." I said
Toby walked out of school with his ex.
"I just died." I said
"I feel you." Crystal said
"It hurts so bad." I said sadly
I called my mom, i asked her to pick me up. After a few minutes, i arrived at home. I ran into my bedroom. Then i cried.
Mom knocked on my bedroom's door. Then she walked in.
"Are you okay?" Mom asked
"Yeah, i'm fine mom. Just leave me alone." I said
"Okay. I don't know why you're crying right now. I gotta go back to my office ok. Bye. Please stop crying." Mom said the she left.
After a few hours, Crystal called me.
"Hey, Carly." Crystal said
"Hello" I said
"Are you still crying?" Crystal asked
"No, i'm not. I'm so sad because my mom doesn't even care about me. She saw me crying but she left me alone at home." I said
"Maybe she's busy." Crystal said
"Yeah. She never cares about me." I said
"Don't say that. Guess what i saw this afternoon." Crystal said
"What?" I asked
"I saw Toby and his ex at CD store this afternoon." Crystal said
"Please don't tell me about anything related to him now okay. Do you want me to cry again?" I said
"No, i don't." Crystal said
"By the way, what's her name?" I asked
"His ex? Her name is Joanna white." Crystal said
"Oh okay. Thanks. Talk to you later." I said
I hung up the phone. Then i turned my laptop on. I searched her name on the school website. I found her short biography. She's a cheer captain.
"That's why every guy at school loves her." I said
After that, i texted Crystal.
Crystal,She's a cheer captain
Why don't you tell me about this?
Crystal didn't reply me. So i slept. I decided to ask her about this tomorrow.
