A S R I E L

3rd POV
"Ugh..." a certain monster groaned. He slowly stood up to see his surroundings.

Below him was a patch of Golden Flowers, who seemingly became a landing for him.

He didn't get hurt that much, thank the lord.

The fallen monster looked like a goat, or a rabbit? I dunno. He had a green sweater with two yellow lines. His fur was white, like the snow, and looked fluffy. His little cute horns was sticking out, and he had ears.

His green eyes flickered around, trying to see his surroundings.

He found himself in an unknown place after falling from the hole.

"Where am I...?" He asked himself, looking up to the hole.

"Ah..." He realised that the hole was too high up for him to reach. He couldn't....

"Oh no. Oh nooo...." he sweated. "Nope. So much nope!"
He sighed.

"Well, that means to find another exit." He said, trying not to freak out. He looked around, trying to find a way out, except the hole.

He stood up completely, as he walked down to the hall way.

Once he opened it, he found a... flower? A flower with red petals, to be exact.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!"

No wait, a talking flower!?

Okay... this is getting weird.

The fallen monster was freaking out. He was just curious for god sake! And look! He is talking to a god damn talking flower!

"Your new to the underground aren't cha? Golly! You must be confused!" The flower, Flowey, said.

He kept on rambling about teaching him on how the underground works. The fallen monster paid attention. They seemed kind enough, right?

Little did he knew, the flower wasn't planning something very nice.

As he entered a battle like state, his surroundings became more dark, eventually a box appeared. Something from his chest flew out of him.

It was a heart.

"Wha-?!" He shouted in surprise.

"That is your soul! The very culmination of your being." The flower explained.

"M-my soul..?" He said in confusion. It was a red heart. It seemed to glow dimly in the darkness.

Flowey continued to explain on how to get stronger. By friendliness pellets.

Seemed suspicious enough.

But he made no comment.

Several pellets surrounded the flower, and he ordered the fallen to catch them.

Asriel was suspicious, but obeyed anyways.

As soon he touched one, he felt pain.

He gasped and fell to the ground.

The flower cackled evilly with a grin.

"You fool!" He shouted. Asriel couldn't make out the words after that as he was trembling in pain.

"Its kill or to be killed." He only can hear the words after trying to stand up.

"DIE!"

Pel-No, Bullets encircled his soul. He trembled in fear. He shut his eyes, waiting for the pain.

But it never came.

He could only hear a sudden exclamation and footsteps. He opened his eyes to see a frying pan hitting the flower, and slammed him to the wall.

"What a terrible person, trying to hurt a young innocent youth." The figure holding the frying pan said.

Asriel now could see what does the figure looked like.

The figure seemed to be a male, with brown hair, several strands of it sticking out. Emerald green eyes seemed to glow slightly in the dark. He had a green sweater with yellow stripes, similar to his. He adorned a slightly stained white apron. He wore brown shorts that reach to his knees.

He seemed to be around his age. Maybe slightly older. His height was slightly taller than Asriel.

He gripped a black, round frying pan he used to hit the evil plant.

His emerald green eyes came to look at him, filled with concern.

"Are you okay?" He asked. He walked towards Asriel, extending his hand.

Asriel nodded and hesistantly took his hand. Immediately, his HP was restored and he no longer felt pain.

The male chuckled.

"My name is ABBY. I am the caretaker of the RUINS." He introduced himself.

"I always come here to see if anybody has fallen. It's been a while since anybody came."

"Come, I'll guide you through the catacombs. Follow me." He said.

Abby walked as the darkness around him disappeared and went back to normal.

Asriel followed the caretaker, who guided him out of the room.

How was it?

Yep, I know the lines aren't the same as Toriel's. It is intentional. Abby isnt Toriel. He is the green soul btw. Kindness.

But Flowey's? I kinda forgot some, so sorry.

But how was the chappie?

Is it good?

Oh ya, I almost forgot.

As you might wonder why Abby looks around Asriel's age.

The reason is because powerful humans can choose not to age. And most of them choose not to. Some humans also technically can't age, as a price of their great power.

Abby is just one of the many who choose not to age.

The other souls are also like that. They choose not to age.

Main reason is because children has the most stamina and endurance, depending on the person tho.

Abby is way older than you think tho.

Like, WAY older.

But yeah, that's about it. If you read until here, have a magical cookie!

See you guys in the next chappie!

Ciao!
