she's never felt it before.

she's never made eye contact with him and instantly feel disappointed because she knows she has no chance. she's never had to watch him laugh with another girl, grab her hips, trace her body with his hands. she's never peeled her eyes away to keep from crying, stay off the dance floor even though that's the only reason she came. she's never stood shoulder to shoulder with him as they argue about whose body is colder, she's never run out of their school and felt her angry tears dry against the freezing cold air. she's never felt unwanted, unneeded, there's always someone willing to be hers. she's never felt this stupid.

she's never felt anything but hips through the fabric of her tight dress and guided hands on her bare skin, and i have never felt this angry.
