Erica's POV
Walking down the halls of Grant High School, where every girl thinks she doesn't belong. Well NEWSFLASH just because you're not pretty enough to be a model or you don't have billionaire parents doesn't mean you don't belong. Not belonging means to have fangs and being able to turn into a bat. Yes...I'm a vampire. Although everyone here is either insanely stuck up or extremely insecure I'm completely fine with it but there's one person which even the thought of sends a shiver down my spine....
......Jessie Saint James. I actually dated him for most of my junior year. He is the reason I am a vampire, the reason I will stay eighteen forever. Yes, he bit me.
(Flashback)
Me : Jessie you didn't have to do all this for me
Jessie : Nothing but the best for the best
Me : aww aren't you the sweetest (starts leaning in)
Jessie : (fangs show)
Me : (screams) what's wrong with your teeth
Jessie : umm nothing.... (tries to find and excuse) guess I shouldn't have skipped that dentist appointment, huh
Me : (gets angry) Jessie.....SPILL IT
Jessie : I have something really important to tell you.....I'm a vampire and I was trying to bite you so we could spend all eternity together
Me : (starts tearing up)

Jessie : (presses his lips onto hers)
Me : (pulls away and gets up) get away from me you freak
Jessie : (gets up and pins her down) if I can't have you no one will (bites her)
Me : (passes out)
