Derek's POV
I hear a knock on the door and grab the candy bowl. I open the door to see a little boy and girl hand in hand dressed like Dipper and Mabel from a Disney XD show called Gravity Falls. I bend down and smile "right on Gravity Falls" I say giving the little boy a high five. "Trick or treat" they say with a huge smile on their faces, I dropped candy in each of their bags. I high five each of them before they run off to what seems like their mother. I hear the woman say "you didn't tell the nice man thanks" than the two turn and yell "thank you sir!" and the woman said a quick 'no' before hiding her face in her hands. I wave bye to them as the kids start pulling the woman's arms to get her to walk faster. I go back in to get a glass of water. Before I get to the kitchen I hear another knock so I grab the bowl again and open the door to see a little boy, around 11, in a werewolf costume. "Trick or treat" he said quietly, I let out a little laugh and gave him some candy "nice costume" "thank you and um for the candy thanks bye" "bye kid" I said smiling. I went inside to the kitchen and got my water. The smell of Landon, the kid from next door and part of my "pack", came from outside. I sniffed again smelling my old friend Stiles and someone with a sent similar to Stiles'. Wait why would Stiles be here? I hope Scott and his pack are alright. I listen in to hear Stiles "dude I don't care about your candy" "and I don't care if his your old friend you haven't seen in like 6 years" I hear Landon say. I listen more as they walk up my drive way "a-and what kinda costume is that! Like a shirt that says 'costume' is not a costume. Like what the he...." he hesitates "like what is that?" "It's better than your face bitch" Landon says making me laugh a little and shake my head. "Hey! You do not say that in front of my..." he was cut of by a little boy saying "bitch" "Der you do not say that!". I laughed at the tone in his voice. 'Who's dare?' I thought with an eyebrow raised. I hear them approach the door, I walk over, open the door and came face to face with Landon and Stiles with a 4 or 5 year old on his hip. "Hey Hale" "Stiles" I say liking from him to the little human hanging from his hip. "Um yeah can I come in?" "Oh uh yeah. Yeah come in". I open the door wider and Stiles walks in with the little boy. I follow him in with my eyes. He stops and turns "kitchen?" he asks. I point to the kitchen and he goes to the kitchen. "Yo Derek candy!" I hear from out side, I look and there's a line of kids waiting "what?". "C. A.N.D.Y I want my candy" I grab two king size candy bars on the side table by the door and hand it to Landon then I took the bowl of candy and put it outside so the kids can have at it. I shut the door and lock it then walk to the kitchen where I find Stiles eating half of a sandwich "made yourself right at home huh?" Stiles looks up at me "uhhh..sorry" than goes to throw the sandwich away. "No eat" Stiles nods and quietly nibbles on his food. "Stiles what are you doing here" "um I need to stay here for a bit...can I?". "Oh um sure yeah you can stay as long as you need. If you don't mind me asking why?" Stiles looks at the boy "I'll talk to you about it later....um where's your cups?". I point above his head "thanks..." he says quickly and gets up to get two cups then walks to the fridge. "Hey buddy apple or grape" Stiles asks looking back at the kid "apple" he said happily, Stiles poured the drink then I take it and walks over to the boy still eating the sandwich and put his drink on the table. I kneel to his level "hey little man what's your name?" "Derek" "and who's daddy?" lil Derek points to Stiles I look over to him to see him blushing and trying to hide his face in my freezer while getting ice. Then I saw him grab for a Cocoa cola "Stiles those are Kat's ya might want to get a Dr. Pepper or tea or water or anything else...." "kay" he said grabbing a Dr. Pepper and pouring it in his ice. My cat ran in and jumped on the table scarring lil Derek and me "Stile!" I yelled grabbing the cat, Stiles laughed to his face was red but then stopped "why'd you name your cat Stile?" "Why'd you name your kid Derek?" Stiles just looked away taking a sip of his drink causing me to let out a little laugh. There was a knock on the door "more kids" I side more to myself "I'll get it where's the candy?" Stiles asked "kids room in the blue closet" "kay". I heard Stiles walk to the door after coming out the kids room "Stiles you can just keep the bowl outside!" I yell out "okay". I hear one of the twins start cry and I'm about to get up when I hear Stiles "I get it Derek keep an eye on Dare please". A moment later the crying stopped and Stiles walked in with both twins on his hips "names?" he asked "Winter and Oliver" I said taking Oliver from him going over to their seats Stiles follows with Winter and we put them in the seats. "It's uh babbies" lil Derek said making me and Stiles laughed "Stiles grab the cookies please" he walks to the fridge and grabbed a big bowl of cookies. Stiles handed me the cookies as Hannah walked in, I putted cookies in front of the kids "hey Dare doesn't really like chocolate chip cookies can he get suger or peanut butter ". I go to grab the chocolate chip cookies when Hannah says "he gets what he gets" Stiles eyes go wide as he looks at Hannah then to me. I shake my head as it say 'it's not even worth it' but Stiles looked at Hannah "I'm sorry did I ask you? No I asked Derek thank you very much" he turned to me as I took the chocolate chip and gave him peanut butter cookies instead "thank you Derek" he said and I just smiled. "Derek who the hell is this anyway" Hannah said "I'm your worst fuc...." he looked at his son "I'm Stiles." "I'm sorry did I ask you" Stiles says nothing so I talk "this is my friend him and his son is gonna stay with us for a bit" "no the hell he..." I cut her off but saying "go back to the room Hannah bye". She gives Stiles the finger and walks away "sorry she can be alittle bit of a B.I.T.C.H" I say spelling out the word bitch "it's whatever it's getting late want help with the twins?" "sure". He takes Winter in his arms as I do the same with Oliver, I walk over and hold out my hand for D.J(Derek Jr.) to take it then I walk to the twins room to find Winter already asleep in her bed. Stiles walks over and takes Oliver then I walk over to a closet to get some pillows and a blanket. I turn around seeing Stiles had been looking over my shoulder he takes the things and I picked D.J up and carry him to the living room as he falls asleep on my shoulder. "I'll clean the guest room tomorrow so you won't have to sleep here the whole time your here" "thanks" Stiles say as he takes D.J and lays down with him wrapping up in the blanket. "Night Stiles" I said while picking up Stile then turning the light off "goodnight sour wolf" I smiled at the nickname I haven't heard in over 4 years.
