My first novel Godsent was a hit, a big one. I wasn't sure if it was the fact that I was 13 or if it was because people liked the book. Maybe not the second one if your Christian. I continued editing the summary of a new book I had in mind. But that didn't last long as I found myself on twitter flooded with tweets and retweets from readers and overall just a lot of people congratulating me on my book. And then I saw it. An article that Carter texted me,  I lost my mind.

'Here's What We Know About 'Godsent' Author, Maia Benz-Phan

Godsent the New York Times #1 Bestseller for the past 5 weeks has been taking the world by storm. Here's what you need to know about its writer.

1. She's Swiss-Vietnamese

As you can tell from her surname, Benz-Phan she's biracial. She was born in Geneva, Switzerland and currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City with her mum.

2. Her parents are divorced

Benz has opened up about her parents divorced on her Youtube channel. Her parents have been divorced since she was 3 months old.

And now I wish I kinda hadn't.

3. She has a Youtube channel

It's called 'XOXO Maia' she does book hauls and reviews, beauty videos, vlogs, skits and a chat show called 'The Thought Bubble' where she regularly alternates between burning her tongue or getting a brain freeze.

They're never letting that go, aren't they?

4. She has a blog

Called 'XOXO Maia' to match her Youtube channel, Maia's blog is barely 1 year old.

And they linked it. How kind...somebody stab me.

5. She's can speak 4 languages

Maia can fluently speak English, Vietnamese, French and Swiss German.

' I can speak them all fluently, the easiest language for me would be English because I always end up blending it with other languages. My 2nd best would be Vietnamese because I live in Vietnam and I always end up using it more than French and German.'

I love how they just quote me instead of explaining it themselves. To be honest I would do the same.

And that's everything you need to know about Maia Benz-Phan. '

"Oh my god. OH MY GOD! OMG!" I screamed, jumping up and down.

I'm filled to the rim with the emotion, happiness, pride and embarrassment.
