"Babe?" Finn asked Millie, looking down at their intertwined fingers.
"Hmm?"
"Do you think... Do you think that Gaten was acting odd earlier? He didn't seem like himself... like, he had something to hide. He wouldn't stop staring at me." Finn said, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Why would he hide anything from you?"
"I don't know. I guess it's extremely fucking personal." Finn looked very confused, his eye swelling with tears. Gaten told him absolutely everything... why would he hide something from his best friend in the entire world?
"Finn... are you crying?" Millie asked, gripping Finn's hand tighter.
"I-I... yeah." He sounded embarrassed.
"Awe, Finny, don't cry!!" She hugged him, burying her head into his shoulder. "I'm sure he's not. It's okay, sweetie." Finn was quietly sobbing.
