Lilly and Rhylan stood in her room staring at her brother and trying to shake off the kiss they just experienced.  "Where have you been Lilly?  Father had us searching all over.  The party is almost over and you aren't there to say goodbye to the guests" Jarron looked at Rhylan and said, "we need to get her back".  "I can take her down to the great hall Jarron," said Eli.  Lilly looked up at Rhylan, her eyes pleading for him to escort her, but Eli took her arm and led her out of the room.  She kept her eyes on Rhylan and they walked out the door.  Jarron turned to Rhylan, "What were you two doing?" Rhylan grabbed the paintings she showed him and handed them over to Jarron.  He looked over all three and looked up at Rhylan.  "What are these?"  "Lilly painted these.  She was having daily dreams about this scene with these people."   He pointed to the faces.  "These paintings are of us Jarron, there's no mistaking it".  Jarron nodded and said, "The resemblance is uncanny, her drawings of mother and father are perfect.  What does this mean Rhylan?"  "It means that Lilly and I have a connection that goes back to her birth Jarron, and we need to ask our parents what is going on".

Lilly walked down the hall with Eli.  Her arm crooked into his.  He looked sideways at her and said.  "I leave for Dorstrum tomorrow.  Will you come visit me?  I really want to show you my home.  Alistair has been meeting with your father all week to try and improve the relationship of our Kingdoms and I'm really hopeful we can develop a stronger connection."  He stopped walking and turned to Lilly and looked into her eyes.  "I think you can help me bring about peace Lilly.  If you and I form a union".  "Eli" she whispered.  "I'm not sure what you mean".  He grabbed her hand gently, and she felt a hot tingle go up her arm just like the first time they met. "I know we just met Lilly, and you may not be sure how you feel about me, but I know I could make you happy.  I adore you and before you say anything, will you at least consider my offer?  I want you to be my Queen and I have made my intentions to your father."  Lilly opened her mouth to reply, not really knowing what to say but then Rhylan and Jarron came around the corner and saved her from having to respond.

As Rhylan walked up to them he watched the way Eli looked at her.  He was holding her hand, whispering to her intimately and suddenly Rhylan was overcome with the most overwhelming sense of jealousy?  Was he feeling jealous of the soon to be King?  He had just spent the most amazing evening with Lilly and he knew where her heart was, so why did he feel so angry towards the Prince.  When she saw him come around the corner, Lilly walked over to him and touched his hand gently, bringing him back to reality.  "Did you show Jarron the paintings?"  Jarron walked over to them and said "Yes,  and I think we should talk to father about it as soon as the party is over.  Let's go say goodbye to everyone." Eli looked at the three of them, and said, "What paintings?" Jarron moved to his side and clasped his back, its nothing Eli.  Let's get back to the great hall."

Lilly snuck into the hall and moved towards the dais to sit next to Sorcha.  "Lilly!  Where have you been?  I've been coming up with excuses for you."  King Marlin looked over at her with a stern look in his eyes but when he saw Rhylan walking up behind her, softness showed thru instead.  Rhylan sat down in Jarrons seat and grabbed her hand under the table.  His touch instantly made all of her nervous feelings go away.  That interaction she had with Prince Elias left her feeling drained and confused.  When he kissed her hand it felt, well, wrong was the only way she could describe it and all she wanted was to be next to Rhylan again.  The King looked past Rhylan and said to Lilly, "Come, let's go say goodnight to our guests.  Rhylan, will you walk with us?"  Lilly smiled and walked down the dais with her father on one side, and Rhylan on the other.

The guests finally left, and King Marlin took Rhylan and Jarron down the hall to talk.  This left Eli as the last one to say good night to Lilly.  His steward, Alistair was standing next to the Prince as he walked up to her and leaned into her ear.  He whispered, "Please consider my offer" and kissed her on the cheek. She felt a hot tingle come to her skin and this time the contact caused her to feel nauseous.  She started to walk down the hall to her rooms and stumbled a bit.  Colvin and Logan were at her side instantly.  Colvin held onto her and said, "I know what is happening Lilly, you need to fight it.  It's a spell.   You are strong with magic Lilly, I can feel your strength. Imagine yourself being a stone wall and nothing can get past it.  You can do this and I can help you nullify it.  You can do this Lilly, come back to us.  Find your way back and build the wall."
