This book is not made to make fun of people with diseases. The main character will joke about their disease to make the atmosphere around them light and other reasons.
Everyone who encounters a disease deals with it differently from other people. So I would hope people respect the way one of my main characters choose to deal with it in my story.
Anyways, if you are a tough cookie and ready for this story. Read away :).
