It was a normal day at the compound.
Saviors were eating breakfast, usually squirrel.
They didn't have many good food choices... well because it was the apocalypse.
Negan called for Dwight. "Dwight, we're going to need you to go on a hunting trip." The large man said. "You leave in 2 hours..."
Dwight nodded. "More squirrels?" He let out a chuckle. "We've been eating squirrels for the past week! Can I at least go on a run?" He asked Negan.
Negan nodded. "You have 3 days for your run then I want you back at the compound. We're low on food." He said. "Well, we could always find that Alexandria place."
Dwight nodded. "Todays not the best day for that. Well, I better get going if I'm going on a run." He said.
Negan nodded. "Stay safe, Dwightey." He laughed a little.
Dwight left the room. He went to his cell to gather his things.
He grabbed his crossbow, the one that he stole from Daryl. He swung it over his right shoulder as he reached for his old, black backpack. He shoved a few bags into the backpack along with 2 bottles of water and some cans of food.
He then grabbed his arrows for the crossbow. He grabbed his P-90 and also shoved it in the backpack.
Dwight was ready to go.
He went out of the back door to the compound and went into his old, black pickup truck.
He started the engine and drove out of the compound.
He drove along the road.
A few hours later he stopped by an old gas station.
He stopped the car and got out.
Dwight walked up to the store and looked through the cloudy window. He banged against it to see if there were any walkers.
A few walkers banged on the windows from inside of the store.
Dwight gripped his crossbow. He slowly walked to the door.
The man slowly twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open.
One of the walkers threw itself at Dwight.
Dwight quickly shot it with the crossbow.
The arrow went up through the walkers mouth up to the skull.
It was not a pretty sight.
Dwight pulled out the arrow,letting the dead walker fall.
He then quickly pulled out his P-90 and shot the last 2 walkers.
Dwight was ready to raid the store.
