I remember the day I became Alpha.
It remains vivid in my mind.
It was June 28, 2004
The sun was shining brightly.
We were out in the forest.
My friends and I were playing hide and seek.
We were having so much fun.
Until halfway through the game,
My mom and dad told me through mind link,
"Leann, quickly, round up your friends and head to the underground base. Hurry! We have no time to lose."
Panic and fear engulfed me.
I shouted to my friends.
But no one replied.
