Night had fallen when they arrived at Jack's flat. They were both really tired and hungry, so Jack quickly dragged Signe's bags to the guests room.

She awkwardly entered the flat and looked around. It was a friendly-looking place, just like Jack.

The walls had been painted blue and green, and everywhere you looked, you could see gaming merchandise.

Signe felt a little bit more comfortable until she heard Jack shout violently from upstairs. He had hit his toe on the bed in the guest room and his eyes were watering from pain.

She giggled and took place on a chair in the kitchen.

After ten minutes, Jack had unpacked her bags and everything was set for Signe to live here. He came back downstairs and saw Signe awkwardly sit on the chair.

He realized how she must feel: far away from home in a unknown place. Jack immediately felt sorry for her and wondered if it really was a good idea to let her move in. Perhaps they should have waited longer?

'Are you okay?', he asked carefully. 'I understand if you feel a little weird.'

Signe smiled at him so he wouldn't worry too much.

'I'm fine. I'll get used to this flat in no time.'

Jack pulled her in for a bear hug, but let go when Signe started tickling him. He bursted out laughing and let out high-pitched squeaks.

'AHH! Stop it!', Jack said, out of breath.

Signe was also out of breath from laughing so much. Jack eventually escaped from Signe's hands and didn't dare to come close to her anymore.

He opened the fridge and warmed up the spaghetti from yesterday since he didn't wanna throw it away.

While the spaghetti was in the microwave, Jack put on a horror movie. They both settled themself in the couch, cuddled up in blankets. Signe fell asleep halfway through the movie because she was exhausted.

She woke up from the microwave beeping, now feeling a bit cranky. She was hungry ans sleepy, a very bad combination in her case.

They ate in silence, the both of them not really interested in the movie anymore. Jack had nearly forgotten the movie was still on, that he dropped his fork when suddenly someone started yelling.

Signe let out a small giggle while Jack ducked under the table to pick up his fork.

'Fucken tv.', he said angrily, turning the movie off.

After they did the dishes, Jack showed Signe where the bathroom and her room were, so she could get ready to sleep.

Signe layed down on her bed, relieved that she finally could get some sleep. Jack tucked her in, what made her giggle.

'Hey! I'm not a child!', she exclaimed.

'Sure you don't want to hear a bedtime story?', Jack joked and she smacked his arm. 'Okay, goodnight then.', he said and kissed her forehead.

She smiled a last time and then drifted away to sleep.
