Chapter 2: The Chosen Ten

Athena's POV

(Alarm rings) It exactly five o' clock in the morning. It is my first day in senior high so, I wake up and do my morning rituals .As I comb my hair, someone knock on my door .

"Come in"

"Ma'am Athena , Miss Hermione is in downstairs waiting for you .And your breakfast is ready ."

"Okay, then I'll be there in just 5 minutes"

(Sala)

"Hey, Pinky, what's with that early matter? Did Auntie give you a full breakfast this morning that makes you early?"

"Your too much ,huh? I just want to go to school with my genius bestfriend this morning .You don't want to? Ohhh, I think I need to keep this beautiful gift for you.

My mom tell me to buy this when I go to California for some reason .And I think its perfect for you if you wear it."

"What's that?"

"A silver bracelet, with a purple book in the middle and a gold leaves occupying the whole bracelet"- Hermione

"Wow! Thank you! Want to eat breakfast?"

"No ,oh .I'm full !"

"Oh, I think I'm good enough to guess!"

"Hahahahaaha"

Because it's too early to stay to school, We decided to walk even Manong Driver insisted to drove us.

"Pinky, I tell you something"

"What's that ?"

"I had a nightmare last night ,and I thought it was true ."

"What happened in your nightmare?"

"So scary, many people died but our place is not the place where my nightmare happened ."

"But, where is the place ?Is it the place you dreamed every night since we are kids ?"

"Yeah, but the whole place that I dreamed when we are kids was not that scary place ."

"Be careful , Purple your nightmare was given you a sign and a meaning .."

Sometimes, I also think about that , what Hermione said is a puzzle to me. I don't know if it is true or not .Since we are kids that place was always included in my dream .I feel so tired thinking about that.

"Hey, look out." - Hermione

I was about to bump in a wall. Thanks God ,Hermione was there. But suddenly , the wind blow harshly and that's the reason why I need to go to the restroom to retouch my hair and uniform.

"Hey, I'll go first .!"

"It's Okay."

She go first in the restroom to retouch herself .But again, the wind blow but not that much .I was alone in the garden because our restroom is beside of our big garden. Something catch my attention and that was a big circle and it is glowing .I go in front of it. And because of my curiosity ,I put my hand in the circle and I think I saw it in some movies that I had watched .It's a portal ! While my hand is inside of it , I suddenly saw a man and a woman prisoned in a metal prison surrounding a black aura and Oh my God ! It has a big snake . I feel so nervous .

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" I pulled my hand and I know I am shaking that time because I feel that the portal will send me on the place that I had been sighted. I sit on the near bench were the portal is located. It is little by little closing. And in a blink of an eye, it was gone .
