It all began long ago, when one tree covered in thick, dark camo green vines, and glistening bulbs, alternated the life of Alessandra. Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet however, since this story isn't all that simple to understand.
On a murky morning, one fairy, Alessandra, protector of mankind, explored the woods. She wanted to see her favorite tree. The Willow. She had silky brown hair, hazel eyes, a long ocean blue dress, with freckles splattered along her face. Her wings were clear white, as if you could see through them without even knowing. She has a curious, outgoing, adventurous, heart, but a soft part, caring deeply about her friends. The day she went out, she made a promise she would not to go farther than The Willow, because on the other side, live the dreadful humans. They are indolent, vulgar, miserable, and have hostility to any mythical creatures, such as fairies. Just as she was about to turn back after seeing the tree, she hears a vicious boom that sounds like a gunshot. Overflowing with anxiety, Alessandra stands hushed, awaiting any other monstrous sounds.
As if the coast was clear, she hears something no fairy would want to hear. Footsteps. Closer and closer. The crunch of the autumn leaves, variety of color, dark orange, yellow, red, with their dark veins slowly dieing, giving up protein for their lives. Crunch, crunch, crunch. The of the figured shadows crushing the leaves from their weight. As if time froze, death flashed in Alessandra's eyes, when she hears something."Yo Mike, found any animals yet?" spoken a figure who was not in sight.
"Nah man, you?" aforesaid the other figure who was not visible, but must be Mike.
As Alessandra flutters among the leaves, she dismissed any noise and faintly moved back. Without seeing where she is going she hits a tree and a flutter of autumn leaves float down peacefully onto the ground. Overflowed it wasn't something else, a pinecone, the size of a fist comes crashing down, making a sound that isn't quiet.
"Yo, you hear that Noah?" remarked Mike.
"Ya, it is coming from over there" Noah points his stubby finger.
Running footsteps come Alessandra's way. Crunch, crunch, crunch. Cracking of the leaves of breaking in half, the sound gets closer and closer. CrUNch, CRuNcH, CRUNCH. Until they see each other, in a place no fairy wants to be seen.
" Is it only me who see's it, or do you see it too?" shakely remarks Noah.
"I see it to" consulted Mike.
"Get that..that..THING!" clamors Noah.
Dashing away, she gets flung down. Head first into the rich, brown, fertile soil, blood oozing down her face. Getting up, she sprints down, flooding with tears. Reaching safe land, she passes out. Everything goes dark, as if she is with the stars. In a dark universe.
She is awaken in her bed made of leaves, with no blood on her face. She remembers everything about last night, but didn't remember going into her house. She realized that The Willow put her in danger and although she didn't wander far, she shouldn't go alone in the woods anymore. For all she knows now, she could put everyone in danger for showing that mythical creatures do exist on the other side of the woods with her life almost taken. She had one question, not about The Willow however anymore, but if it was a dream, or did it really happen?
