[Hinata's POV]

It was a dark morning jogging to school. I rushed to the gym, looking around. However, Kageyama wasn't there.
Where was he? Is he late?
It seems impossible for him of all people to come to practice late, but I suppose people do have some personal issues. Now that I think about it, I've never even heard a word from him about his personal issues...
Besides, if he was here, he'd probably be asking about me running off last night. That, I don't want.
I sighed and decided to just start setting up by myself before I heard Daichi and Suga walking up.
"It seems unusually quiet-"
"Hey!" I rushed to the door, "Have you guys seen Kageyama?"
They jumped at the same time and it made me chuckle.
"So that's what it was." Suga said, "No, we haven't... Daichi?"
"Kageyama won't be coming to practice for a while." He answered, "I'll address the team once they all get here."
"Huh?" It didn't make any sense... "did something happen?"
He didn't answer until the rest of the team came in. He called the team together to make an announcement.
"Kageyama won't be joining us for practice for a long while..." Daichi said, "He is in the hospital at the moment, in a coma. He won't be waking up for, as estimated, a few months."
"Wha-"
"How do you know all of this?" Suga asked.
"The doctors couldn't get ahold of any of his parents, so they decided to tell the school instead. Then I was informed." He explained.

So... so this was all my fault...
If only I had talked with him... told him-

"Hinata!" I flinched at Daichi grabbing my shoulders, "Are you okay..?"
"Yeah..." I responded quickly.
"Look, we can all take time to visit him after school today, understood? Now, lets get to practicing."
I nodded but couldn't look at them. I kept asking myself what would've happened if I acted differently. Though, I shook my head and looked up from the floor. Nothing good will come from rethinking what might have happened.
I sighed and looked up at them, "Alright!"

After all, Kageyama will wake up soon...
Right..?
