Niall Has Autism; Always has, always will. But he doesn’t let anything stand in his way. From his abusive stepfather, or his careless mother, Niall knows he can escape it all by closing his eyes and dreaming of the promises Zayn, his stepbrother, makes him.
He promises to take Niall away from it all. He swears that Niall will be save from those monsters they call parents. He’s fed up with everyone treating Niall like he doesn’t matter because Zayn knows Niall has feelings. Even if the boy doesn’t understand why people hate him so much; Zayn knows that deep down Niall is aching for someone to sweep him off his feet and give him his own fairytale which he feels his head with every day.

Personal Opinion of the Story: You know I’ve never really been around an autistic kid. I’ve been in the same class as one, but I’ve never exactly gotten to know one. This story literally makes me want to know someone like that. (Other than the pain kink and sexual frustrations…) No wonder it got number one in the Bromance Awards. It was extremely touching and I can’t wait to read book two, Patient Love. YES, it’s a trilogy, which means that there’s more. Which means that the epilogue isn’t the last of it. Which means that I might just cry one more fucking time cause damn. I’m getting emotional.
To put my feelings into words: I really want to draw Disney pictures with Steve and Panda right now.
You don’t even know.
(I’m dedicating this to zialltops even though anonymous43 is a big contribution to the story. Zialltops’ page is where you can find the story, so those who are on their computer can have an easy linked access to find it. But, Panda, if you read this, tell Steve that she is amazingly loved just as you are.)
