The next day is Tuesday her only normal day, so she has study hall with the 7th graders, during her 7th period. After 5 period she rushed to mathlympics class, while on her way there she tried to be aware of her surroundings, hoping not to run into Christina. When she gets there the class is empty but she sits and waits in the back. She starts to day dream about the wonders of the world, suddenly she hears Grey. She can hear him having a conversation with one of his friends. By now it was 3 minutes before the bell rang, and the classroom is almost full. When Grey walks in she continues to sketch. As he walks in he looks for a seat and winds up sliding into the seat next to Rho. Wait where are his glasses?
"Hey, Rho are you okay?"
"Ummmm , yeah."
He turns to look at her he slowly starts to put his hand on her shoulder.
"R-r-r-r-ring"
the bell rang and he quickly puts his hand back on the desk as if he hadn't of done anything. Mrs. Perri walks in and has a folder full of notes.
"Hello students, today we will talk about why you are here and today we will see if you are worthy of being in my class." She says out loud. The class looks dumbstruck. You could tell the class was about to complain that's it's just crazy. Rho is speachless. Grey looks even more confused and speechless. Ms. Perri continues, " you will be going one on one, no holding back. It'll begin..." she pauses and slides her chalkboard over and flips to the other side revealing a bracket " Now, alright Brady and Jonah."
Rho could hear her heart pounding through her chest. She quickly scans the board for her name. Who the fuck is Greggory?!
"ooh you got put with Greg, your gonna have to bring you're A-game."
Rho continues to stare into the oasis of darkness. Just trying to figure out what to do about Grey!
"Rhoooo." he says in a singy songy way to me trying to get my attention.
"uh, yea whats up?"
"are you okay?"
"I um I'm fine. "
"So you're going to be against Gregg."
"who's that?"
Grey points to a short little boy blonde hair and hazel eyes with acne.
"that's him he is also in 7th grade he is a total nerd."
"umm okay."
In the background you can hear the argument:
"What do you mean it isn't 2487989/15?!" Mrs. Perri yells, " Alright! Jonah wins, Brady... get out."
