Chapter 3: Sibling Talk

Lucy's POV

      I just shrugged it off and went home. Well you're probably wondering why I used the surname Heartfilia. It's because I 'm half Japanese. I also have Filipino and Korean blood.

       My dad's a half japanese and half filipino while my mom is half japanese and half korean. Hatofiria is literary a japanese word and it means Heartfilia in english.

      You might be wondering why I picked a fake name that close to mine, well it can help me when I accidentally slip like earlier. Smart, right?

       I went home and changed. I was wearing a blue blouse and shorts. I sat on my bed and opened my laptop.

      I done a little research about this Cole Dragneel. I learned that his family owns a successful company, Dragneel Corp. The Dragneel's is one of the most influential and powerful family there is.

       I was interruted when I heard I knock on my door. I answered with a sweet "come in.". The door opened and Luke enterned.

      "Hey big bro." I smiled at him.

      "Lucy, I never thought that you would do that to me." He said fake hurting. He also did this weird gesture of clutching his shirt. I have to say.. I have one WEIRD brother.

      "Do what?" I asked innocently playing along with his little game of drama.

      "You know what i'm talking about. Just admit it" He half shouted but I can still tell that he was joking around. It was written on his eyes. Playfulness. Tsk, typical Luke..

     "Admit what?" I asked innocently again.

     "Drop the innocent act, Lucy. Because we both know that it won't work on me." he said while pointing an accusing finger on me.

     "But i'am not playing around, my over dramatic brother. I clearly do not understand your accusation. So, if you don't mind. Please fill me in and forgive me for daring to forget such a crime." i said while batting my eyelashes at him attempting my puppy eyes.

     "You know how much I hate a girl that almost threw herself at me, right?" he said while sighing.

     "Really? I was clearly NOT in my knowledge, my dear brother." I faked out a shock reaction. He just sighed.

     "Hey don't blame me. Its not my fault I have a good-looking brother." I said dropping the act.

     "Yeah, you're right." he said with a smirk. Okay, goodbye Luke 'The Actor'. And hello Luke 'The Cocky Prince'

    I remembered something, Luke was sitting with Cole earlier. Maybe he knows him. Might as well ask him.

    "Umm, Luke do you know someone come by the name Cole?" I asked him.

    "Cole? Who? Cole Dragneel?" he asked me.

    "yeah, do you know him?" I asked him simply leaning in. Anticipating his answer.

    "Of course I know him. He's a friend of mine. Why did you ask? did he did something to you cause if he did I will sure-"

     "No, I just bumped into him." I said cutting him off.

    "well, ok. But tell me if he does something or anything to you. that's all." with that, he left.

    It really makes me smile when he acts like that. He's really an over protective brother. At least I know he really cares for me.

    I put away my laptop and decided to sleep. So, i did my usual before-to-bed routine. I took a quick shower, changed into my pajamas, brushed my teeth and tucked myself to sleep.

    I can't help thinking about Cole.
