Elena's POV

Were almost ready to start sailing. We just need to pack a few belongings and were ready to hit the sea! Naomi is  battening down the hatches. Gabe is trying to flirt with me & Naomi by flexing his muscles, but its not working. Estaban is attempting to do the captains job, and Mateo is trying to work on some spells...but I'm not convinced he's doing it right. Its kind of funny. "Hey Mateo! What kind of spells are you working on?'' I said trying to hold back my laughter. " I'm working on some levataion spells." Said Mateo calmly. It really looked like he was doing a fire work spell. Every time he would raise his wand and say, "Levalook!" Magical sparks would come out of his hands and land on the deck. Than, the object object would float in the air for like two seconds and return back to Earths ground. "Looks like your having a little trouble with your spell." I said. He shook his head and the curls in his hair gently bounced, " Yeah, its kind of hard..And I need to have this spell down by my next wizard exam." Mateo said. "Need help?'' I said with alittle too much enthusiasm. " Sure, could you take a look at the wizard hand book, and tell me if I. 'm doing the hand motions right?" Mateo said. Which obviously he was not. The book's directions were up down up. And Mateo was going around in circles. "How about I show you?" I took the wand and accdentily touched his hand and our eyes met. I decided to break the awkward silence by saying,"Okay, this is what the book said to do." I did the spell, and to my surprise I actually did it correctly. Mateo looked a little too impressed. I explained to him the correct way of doing the spell, and he finally got it! "Thanks Elena, it was really cool for you to help me out like that." Mateo said with a goofy look on his face. To be honest, Mateo is a really nice guy. He's the only guy who I would ever consider to go out with...I mean not that I want to.. I mean, if he wants to..Its complicated... He's a really great guy and we have a lot in common. He really is great at spells, I like to watch him. And the more I do the more I realize that I may have feelings for this guy. He has this bouncy wavey brown hair that shines like the sun, and these soft, nice brown eyes that I like to get lost in all the time. And his personality is so sweet and kind. He's unlike any guy I've ever met before. Finally I said, "No problem, this was fun." While starring into his kind, starry eyes. Then I looked at the time and exused myself. I was a little sad, I could talk to Mateo for hours. But, I'm a princess, with royal duties that need to be fulfilled!
