NANCYS P.O.V.

Carter carried our luggage out of the plane. I sheilded the intense light from my eyes with my hand, while my other rested on my ever-growing belly. I followed Carter through the crowd. Nervousness crawled through my nerves. I didn't know what to think. Was I scared? Would he support me just as that other bastard had? I was just sure  of one thing, he was going to get a beating of his life.

"Ok, so lets get transportation to my house.." I nodded. " Don't expect us to stay long, we have other plans" I said bluntly. Carter nodded, dissapointment shone in his brown eyes. A pang of shock hit me, then guilt. I then remembered how he had left and had caused so much chaos in my life. I mentally shook my head, he deserved it. Spoon meowed quietly. I crouched down to his pet carrier. " Its alright  bud, I know its probably hotter that usual" I smiled and scratched his ear through one of the spaces inbetween the net. " I know that Spoon is a King but, we have some ass kickin' to do." I smiled and stood from my akward crouch. I nodded and petted Cat on her head. " Good Kitty" I smiled teasingly. Cat growled, sounding surprisingly like a Cat. I looked around and saw that Carter was gone. I looked further into the crowd  and saw that Carter was waving at us. I pooked Cat in her side. "Hey!" She wined. I pointed over to where Carter was. We both walked(well I waddeled) over to Carter.  " I found us a Taxi" I got into the taxi. It smelt like a dead racoon, a fat, sweaty man sat at the front and wiped his nose with his bare hand and wiped it on his shirt. " Were you headin'?" I was pressed against the door, the only skinny one in here was Cat, and with the stuffy taxi, there was hardly any extra space to relax. I zoned out, hopefuly to make this ride a little bearable. The Taxi was only getting less bearable and I started to have thoughts of opening the window. " Hey can I roll down a window?" I asked timidly staring at the passing neighborhoods. "Sure" he said nastily. I rolled down the window and a blast of hot blistering air hit my face. Dust attached itself to my pores only making the ride worse, I felt disgusting. And then I saw the most amazing and beautiful thing. A mother was playing with her two kids, both girls. Thry were laughing and smiling. Beauty shone from every inch of their faces. I wanted that. I was going to have that. I smiled. Despite the dirt and heat, this was truely the perfect place to raise my children. It wasn't only them, there were many happy families, some old and some were brand new. I saw Cat watching them to. I grabbed her hand and laughed. She squezed my hand and smiled. I let go and rolled u the window, I'm glad I rolled it down in the first place.

As we pulled into a stop, I stared at the lucious green lawn with sprinklers watering refreshing, clear water onto the thirsty grass. A pepple trail led up to a dark brown porch with a familiar rusted, yet stable porch swing resting to the right of a mahogony red-brown door which was rested inbetween a two storied brown house. A dark red picketfence tied the whole establishment together.

Carter led Cat and I up the porch, he sat down our luggage and pulled out a golden key. " Hey remember that, me and you used to swing on that all the time" It was true, me and Cat would try to push it to its limits, and Carter would yell at us not to get to high, it wasn't a swing. We would do it anyways though. " Ofcourse I do" I smiled at her. Carter unlocked his door and held it open for me and Cat. I opened the cat carrier and let Spoon stretch his limbs. Cat rubbed her hands and smiled evily. I copied her movemnts. Carter looked nervous. I  laughed at his face.

Carter led us to a guest room. I looked around and didnt see much. In fact, there was only two beds and a dresser with a lamp on top of it. " Sorry... for not much decor" Carter said akwardly as he rubbed his hand on his arm. I shrugged. " We won't be here long... this is fine, thank you Carter" I said gratefull we would have a bed to sleep in until we got our own home. He nodded and left to grab our luggage. " We have to deal with Mike sooner or later, so, after we're dressed, we will go find this bastard" I said to Cat. Cat nodded.
