The darkness creeps silently at midnight as the full moon sheds brief light onto the deep, dark forest in an old abandoned town. A figure is barely seen swiftly making its way past the trees, past large rocks; making its way towards a large event. The large dog-like figure slackens in pace as it arrives to a clearing where only to see is a large bonfire centered in the middle of a circle of other figures. Brightly shining eyes fix onto the one in particular.

"I have a message," he speaks out of breath almost, and they all put full attention on him as silence corrupts the air, "It is from Alpha. His pups are being born as we speak, and you all will all be summoned for an important assembly tomorrow." he tries to speak as slowly, merely out of breath.

A large pure bred female steps further into the circle around the small messenger.

"And what of this meeting, its consistencies?" she asks, her voice cautious.

"Alpha said not to inform until done so." the messenger innocently shrugs and sits down, tired. A caring purebred that's white, grey, and brown with black walks over and sets down a bowl of water to the ground, not spilling as she carried it between her teeth.

"Drink, tired servant. We shall follow you to this meeting at the next moon." She assures and backs away slowly. The small figure shyly accepts and does so, licking the water out of the bowl. He exhales, sitting down.

"I'm not entirely pleased about this abrupt meeting." the one pure bred who asked what of the meeting, who's as black as night, growls to her mate and he nuzzles his head with hers.

"I am sure everything will be just fine." he assures and then the wolves all huddle in their circle and soon drift asleep. The servant lay outside the crowd, curled up to get warmth in the dark of night.

"Fellow purebreds," Alpha announces, the large pack circling around as he stand tall and mighty upon a large rock, "I am delighted for inform to you all that several pups were delivered last night and shall be welcomed into our family."

And with that, the wolves howled under the full bright moon, the pups joining.
