America x Reader: Stuck like Glue

~*~*~

MMMM better...MMMM better...

Absolutely no one that knows me better

No one that can make me feel sooo goooood

How did we stay so long together?

~*~*~

Alfred kicked his feet down the street; he'd been such an ass to her. He couldn't believe what he'd done, and yet she never left his side; cheated so many times, lied just as much and yet she'd never left him. Not once. Alfred had felt guiltier than anything. He never wanted to hurt her; yet he always did. They only fought because Alfred was so incredibly stupid. He knew that if he hurt her one more time she'd leave him go... forever. He sighed deeply and shook his head. He hated himself. He finally scuffed his feet down the road walking to an apartment complex.

When everybody, everybody said we never would

And just when I, I start to think they're right

That love has died...

“Alfred! You’re home!” (Name) cried. Alfred smiled weakly and wrapped his arms around her. He made a soft sound that made her relax in his arms. She’d always been there; never left sometimes he couldn’t stand it. “I was so scared you wouldn’t come home…” (Name) said softly. Had she been crying? Seeing the look on (name)’s face it made his heart break, her eyes were red and puffy but she had the biggest smile on her face.

“Your hero will always come home, even if he’d been the biggest jerk, I’m sorry (N-Name),” Alfred admitted.

There you go making my heart beat again,

Heart beat again,

Heart beat again

There you go making me feel like a kid

Won't you do it and do it one time?

                    ~*~*~

Her eyes shimmered like a million diamonds, warming Alfred’s heart He smiled softly and kissed her forehead. They’d been together ever since he could remember. Elementary school he stuck up for her and he had never left her side. And now after all these years she’d never once left, nor had she threatened to leave. He’d make sure she knew how much she meant to him.  “Alfred, you mean everything to me, you’ve not been a jerk, trust me, you’ve been amazing, and oh so wonderful. I love you so mu—“

“Please (N-name), S-stop,” Alfred fell to one knee before he removed a small ring from his back pocket. “(Name) I love you more than anything,  I’ve been a jerk, I’ve cheated on you more times than I can count, and I’m an idiot for ever doing that to you.”

               ~*~*~

There you go pulling me right back in,

Right back in,

Right back in

And I know-oo I'm never letting this go-ooo
