Welcome the world of Hexxit! A world filled with monsters, magic and adventure just around the corner! This world has many wonderful things such as cities and small towns to jungle and forest tribes and villages to underground caverns with mushrooms as big as a small house! These are but a few of what this land has to offer. Though not all of it is as wonderful and great as these, there is an evil looming over this land. An evil greater than any this land has ever known. But you see, few know of this evil, as the other people of this land go about their days in ignorance, not seeing the pain and misery looming over them. Though all hope is not lost legend speaks of heroes who will save the land and defeat the evil that plagues it.
It is a good day in the village of Phoenix Light. The sun is shinning and the birds are singing as the villagers are going about their day. Though the peace was soon interrupted with an unexpected scream. "KITTY FIERCE!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!" The source of the loud threat was a brunette elf standing outside of her home in front of a garden that had been frozen over. And the said person responsible for this was quickly running off laughing to herself. The elf sighed. "I'm hiding all the sugar in the village tomorrow." She kneels down to inspect her frozen plants, noting that almost all of them were frozen solid and would have to be thawed and/or replanted. As she examined the plants a shriek was heard in the distance along with some threats about burning her friend's home down. Standing to her full height again she took off after her friend to make sure she didn't hurt herself (or anyone else) in her sugar high.
After a few hours of chasing her friend and cleaning up what she could of her messes and helping her come off of her sugar high Sierra walks Kitty home. Intent on making sure her home is a sugar free zone (much to Kitty's dismay).Once they reach her home, Sierra proceeds to find and confiscate all the sugar in Kitty's house. After about thirty minutes of Kitty pouting, they drift into casual conversation. And talk with each other for about two hours. "And I swear! Rep is gonna kill me when he finds out." Kitty laughed. She's always playing pranks with or on her friend Reptar. "Yeah he is. How long have you two been at this prank war again?" Sierra watched Kitty as she thought about her answer. Kitty is honestly a very pretty girl. She's a few inches taller than Sierra. "Uh... I think its been about two years." Kitty looks a little unsure of her answer. "Oh Notch... you two should just get married already." Sierra jokes. Kitty looses it, shes laughing so hard that she is now hunched over, her long dark red hair falling to the sides of her face. She calms down and stands to her full height and smiles. She has one of the most contagious smiles in the world, so Sierra couldn't hep but smile along with her. Kitty brushes some hair out of her unique white (almost pupiless) eyes, which are now softly glowing. "So you got any plans for later?" Kitty asks. "Not really. I was just going to chill out with a book at home." Sierra reply's honestly. " Wanna come mining with me and Rep then?" Kitty gleefully asks. "No thanks. I haven't had time to myself in awhile." Sierra turns her down. "Aw.. Okay then." Kitty responds disappointed. "Well I should get going. See you later Kitty!" Sierra starts towards the front door to head home. "Bye Sierra! " Kitty waves. "Stay safe down in the mines okay Kitty?" "Will do Sierra!" "Bye Kitty!" Sierra walks out the door and starts to go home. Taking in the nice weather and the sound of nature. Her home is the farthest away from the village as anyone else in Phoenix Light. She enjoys her privacy, and it helps with the noise of the loud festivals and party's that the village likes to hold.
After about twenty minutes of walking, Sierra finally reaches her house. She walks inside, decides to let her garden thaw out before messing with it. And walks up to her bedroom. As she walks to her bed she stops to look herself over in a long mirror that she has hanging on her wall. Sighing as she lets her hair down.
Sierra watches her brunette locks fall down to her waist, as she moves her long bangs out of her face for the hundredth time today. Her piercing deep blue eyes stare back at her and there gaze drifts to her pointed and elongated ears, a defining feature of her race. Her gaze continues to drift down, examining her own features. Her purple sleeveless turtleneck looks dirty and has coal dust along the bottom part. Her long shorts are also covered in coal dust and dirt, taking away from the normal blue jean look, making them look like they are a dark grey. Her legs also were very dirty, her work boots were slowly transitioning from brown to black. Her slim muscular frame is sightly slouched over due to her exhaustion.
She takes off her belt that she is hidden under the bottom part of her shirt, which holds two diamond battle knives. She kicks off her boots and walks towards her bathroom to wash off.
A few hours later, while Sierra is laying on her bed reading a book, she hears a knock on her front door. As she go's to answer the door a small sense of dread builds in the pit of her stomach. She reaches the door, hesitating for a moment then answers the door. She is greeted by a tall, muscular man slouched over and heavily leaning on the door frame. His hair is covering his eyes, making it hard to tell who he is. He has his left arm wrapped around his midsection, crimson blood staining the cloth of his uniform around the appendage. His breathing is labored and he is relying on the door frame to keep from collapsing. He is dressed in a torn up and beaten guards uniform. He finally looks up at her, his gaze is tired, dull and pained, he has blood running down his face. "Please... can you help to me ma'am...?" His voice is rough and tired, breaking at some points during his sentence as he attempts to keep his composer. "Yes... Uh..! Yes! Yes! Let me help you!" Sierra quickly and carefully supports him and helps him inside, using her foot to kick the door shut.
She carefully sets him on her couch and runs off to grab a first aid kit. She quickly comes back in holding the kit in her arms and quickly makes her way over to him. He has managed to lay down on the couch and looks very pale in the lighting of her house. She sits on the floor next to him, looking at him to see if he is still awake. He groans and tiredly turns to look back at her having heard her walk in and sit down. She smiles at him in a way that she hopes looks comforting and looked down to the first aid kit as she opened it to grab a health potion. He weakly puts his bloody hand on her shoulder. She looks up at him and is about to ask him what was wrong when he beings to speak. "No... don't waste your potions on me.." His voice is weak like he is tired and trying to hang on for a little while longer. "Sir... what do you mean? Y-your hurt! You need help-" "I know... but.. I... any help given... would be of no use now..." His face has a pained yet somber expression and his eye's are glassy and tired. Sierra looks at him confused, then in a moment of realization her expression turns to one of understanding and sadness. "Sir... " "Jack..." "Uh.. Jack... w-why are so sure that your..." She can't find it in herself to finish her sentence. He weakly smiles at her and then his expression turns serious. "I... must warn you..." He coughs small drops of blood stain his lips. "There are monsters attacking the cities and towns of this land..." She looks at him worriedly. "Monsters...?" "They... they call themselves Voidlings... be.. be warned..-" He breaks into another coughing fit, this one seeming worse than the last. More blood covers his lip and chin. He attempts to speak in the middle of his fit. "Th-they are.. r-ruthless! Th-they kill anyone a-and anything th-that gets in their w-way!!" He looks scared and tired. His breathing begins to shallow, coming in quicker and shorter gasps. He tiredly looks at her with his glassy eyes, trying to catch his breath. She carefully takes his hand off of her shoulder and holds it in between her own. Trying her best to comfort the dying man. He closes his eyes, his brows furrowing showing his pain.
They both stay like that for a few minutes. He weakly looks at her and she scoots closer so he won't have to strain his voice. "Th-thank... you..." He weakly smiles at her, his frame relaxing as her falls limp. His hand limply slips out of hers and falls to hang limply at the side of the couch. She looks up at his face. His gaze is far off and his expression is peaceful. She gently presses her fingers too his neck to feel for a pulse, she finds none. She then carefully shuts his eyes, bowing her head in respect for the fallen soldier. She sits there for some time, taking time to morn the death of a man she has just met. Even though she knew very little about him, she sill grieved. She finally stands giving one more look to the corpse of the soldier before walking out the door to go and find the village priest.
