Clair's POV:

I've been locking myself in my room since that women left. I can't believe it. That's wrong. First , She's Adam's mother and second ,she's taking him to live with her!

~Flashback~

"Hey sweetie. How are you ?"

"M-mom. I mean Taylor. "

She smiled at Adam as he looked at her dumbfounded.

"Why d-did you leave me ? Why would you do so? I mean wh-"

"Please let me explain. "She said hurt flashed on her face.

Adam was silent. I can see he was a bit tensed.

I mean I was shocked my self. I wonder if he's alright.

"Landon- uh Adam. Your father and I never got married. I loved him so much but it was one night that he came back to the apartment drunk. He started abusing me. A lot. He started drinking so much and abusing me every night. And one night. "She said as tears rolled down her cheek. "..He raped me. And that's how I got you. I loved you so much that I feared something will happen to you. That made me run away from your father. I didn't have any where to go. I got just a bit food to eat. And then when you were born, I knew I would never give you a happy life. I was holding you on your birthday on one December , so close to me that I wished you'd be warm enough from my chest. I walked passed this street and I saw a christmas tree lit up in this house. Then I saw a very cute little girl and her brother and I saw her mother and father so happy with them. And that's when I decided to leave you there. I thought that if I did you would live a happy life and have brothers and sisters. I'm so sorry. I love you. "

She sobbed and mom rubbed her back. I looked at Adam and he was crying for the first time ever.

"A-and w-hat d-did y-you do then?" Adam said between his sobs.

"I-I just left you and went away. I searched for a job to work at but I couldn't find. I had to move to another state. And then I met a guy. He gave me a job and he was so nice to me. I felt loved again in a very long time. But I couldn't stop thinking about you. "She wiped her tears away and sniffled.

"So are you married?" Lucy asked.

"Y-yes. And I got a family. We're living in a big house and we're rich. "She giggled. "And I came back here to ask you to come and live with us. You know cause now I'm having a fine life. "She said to Adam.

He nodded and hugged her.

So yeah. He's going with her. I can't believe that. I'm still in a shocked state.

First I was happy that I can tell him I love him cause he's not really my brother. And second, he's leaving. I cried as I thought about him. Tomorrow he's leaving. And he's going to another family. And another school ,even to another state. I won't be able to see him everyday. Or hear his goodnights and mornings.

I sobs and cried until I fell asleep.. Please don't leave me Adam.
