does he have a crush on me????

chapter 2. let's go shopping!

"why is he so cute?" i asked myself in the car on the way to the mall.
"the only reason i wanted a roommate was so that i could move out and save time and money in the mornings. but now i have to think about what i do everyday so that he doesn't fall in love with me, because i can't fall in love with him, i haven't already, have i??" 

as i said "i haven't already, have i??" he turned and looked at me.
then i realised that i said that last sentence out loud so i started blushing.

 he looked at me all worried and asked "what haven't you done?" 

i didn't want to tell him that i was talking to myself about maybe having a crush in him. so i just said "the washer, i'm unsure about if i emptied it or not" 

he then put his hand around my shoulder and said "i did it for you, you don't need to worry about it!" and i just felt like i totally saved that from being so much worse.

i started to think about maybe saying thanks, cause i didn't really notice that he did empty it but before i could say something, he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the valentine shelfs, grabbed the biggest teddy he could find, put it on his back and said "i'm buying you this!"

my mouth swung open and all i could say was "why?" 
he then got really close, hugged me and whispered in my ear "i wanna buy you this because i'm so thankful that you would let me live with you!"

so he did...

i hugged him, said thank you and we both went home...
together...
