I'm burned. Feeling the firey glow around me, my eyebrows slowly curl down into a facial scowl. I hear the words in my head. I told you to hide you heart. You should have listened. I shake my head.

I start to run, my feet trampling on hot coal. I may have my black boots on, but that doesn't stop the burning.

My vision starts to turn white and I feel myself falling. Down. Down. Down. Get up Regina. You will never succeed this way. The colors turn hollow, leaving me alone in my own bitterness.
