Sam sat alone in the bunker's library buried in old lore books. The light he was under shone over the words clearer than he'd imagine. On the other hand, Castiel ran a hand through his short brown/black hair. Sam sighed, stressed about something.
"Sam?" Castiel asked while walking over to him.
"Yeah?" Sam responded. He didn't take his eyes off the book.
"Are you okay?" Castiel was always concerned about the young Winchester. Only, he never knew why. It seemed like as hard as he could try, he would fall deeper into feelings.
"Yeah. Just can't find out what it is stalking that campus." Sam's voice came sharp and tired.
"Take five?" Castiel tried to ask.
"No," Sam replies, "I can do this."
"Please?" Castiel the Angel, begged.
"No." Sam argued. That's when Castiel's hand closed the book. Sam looked up and tried to pry it from his grip but failing.
"Fine." Sam gave up and stood from his spot on the wooden chair.
"I'll take over for now." Castiel smiles happily.
"Whatever." He mumbles as he left Castiel alone in the room and locking his bedroom door behind him. Castiel decided to start on a different book and work his way in from there. That was the end of normal for them. But, it was the beginning of faith.((Thank you -Sam_Winchester for helping me with this idea. I've wanted to try it for so long!))
