As Ariel walked to class after leaving Brandon at her locker, she felt defeated. Like she had done something wrong. But most of all, she felt angry, just like Brandon. She wanted to do the same thing he did: interrogate people until someone fessed up. She knew what she had to do. When she got to class, everyone stared at her, per usual. Then, they started to whisper to each other, occasionally glancing back at Ariel. One of the douches from yesterday said something to his fellow douches and they all started laughing and pointing in Ariel's direction. She was furious. So furious, she got up and marched over to them. "What the hell did I ever do to you?" in the meanest voice she could muster up the courage to use. Their smiles faded, and quickly apologized. But she wasn't done yet. "Do you think it's funny to just go around slut shaming girls and calling them names behind their back? Making them feel like shit?". By now, everyone was looking at her. "It doesn't make you cool, it makes you an asshole. Every. Single. One of you." The whole class made 'oo'ing noises as she went to sit back down in her seat. Told you she was a badass. The day went on per usual up until lunch time. Ariel was sitting at a table near the dumpster by herself eating the lunch her mother packed for her that morning. As she was eating, someone she didn't recognize before dropped a note on her table and kept walking. She tried to get his attention by saying "Hey! You dropped something!" but she then looked at the paper and saw her name on it. Curiously, she opened the note. 'come to the main bathroom, we need to talk. -anonymous". She recognized the handwriting, so her initial thought was that it was Brandon. She got up, packed her lunch away and tossed it into the dumpster, and was on her way to the main bathroom.
