fifth period came by so quickly. I was anxious and at the same time scared . like what would happen ? would he give me a dirty smirk or act as nothing has happened ? the thoughts raced my mind and Julie could tell something was wrong .
" what's wrong? " she asked me once I had sat down .
Julie was one of my closest friend , grew up in the same part of town . we were more like sisters to be exact .
" nothing . " I replied .
" lies . you seem off lately " she responded.
" Julie . turn around and face the front . do the prologue on the board "mr. Ledford burst .
the rest of the period was as SAME as always. mr Ledford gave his lesson , kids moped . the kids in the back falling asleep. the others daydreaming and I usually tried to pay attention and imagine him naked when I was about to go until the class was over .
" okay guys class is over , don't forget that you are awesome . " he would always say as we left and I would go on but not that day .
" Kimberly . could you stay with me for a couple of minutes to go over your " test " . " he asked .
I nodded , as if I had a choice ?
once everyone left he sat me down and said " kim, I don't want you to tell your buddy Julie about us . I'm afraid she might tell her mom { the boss of the school administrate }
" it's okay I didn't tell her and I don't plan to either . " I replied .
" your dad is away on his business trip , along with your mother I suppose? "
he said now changing the subject.
" yea ...... how did you know ?? " I mumbled .
" I was doing a " tad " of research. " mr Ledford responded.
at that moment I felt a knot form in my stomach.
" ummm ... I think I should be going now . don't want to be late to the buses." and with that I left the room .
