The weekend was stressful. He told Danielle he and Harry were very drunk and he just crashed on his sofa and simply slept late. Which was partly true.
Danielle also booked them a marriage counselling appointment because she wanted them to start it sooner rather than later but Louis didn't really care anymore.
What happened Friday night had not left his mind over the weekend so when Monday morning rolled around Louis automatically offered to take the boys to school.
Danielle did think it was a bit out of character but Louis just said he wanted to do something nice for her.
Which was a lie.
He wanted to see Harry.
Harry on the other hand was hoping to see neither Louis or Danielle.
He didn't want to see Louis because he didn't want a repeat of Friday. Not that he didn't enjoy it. He loved it beyond belief! But he felt bad for Danielle. He was friendly with her and even though his newly found feelings for Louis were much stronger than the friendship he and Danielle had, he still didn't want to look her in the eye at 8:30 in the morning.
So when he walked into the school playground to see Louis standing in his usual spot he took a deep breath.
"Okay, Dori do you want to go and put you bags in the classroom? I'll be stood over with Louis." She nodded her head before running off to her class. Harry then started walking over to Louis.
When Louis noticed Harry walking over to him he instantly stood up straight and checked that the suit he was wearing was nice, smart and crisp.
"Oh, hi Harry, forgot you would be here today." Louis tried to act cool but his words only made him look a little silly.
"Well there's not really anyone else who would take Dorothy to school. My mum could but she lives a while away." Louis just chuckled nervously before telling Harry he was right.
"So how have you been?" Harry asks looking down to the floor shyly.
"Okay I guess. Danielle was a bit of a pain over the weekend but you know.." Harry didn't know but he nodded anyway.
"Did you think about what happened on Friday at all?" Louis was never one to feel shy but speaking of their forbidden rendezvous made him quieten his voice so no one could hear. Even though the other parents were at least four meters from them.
"All weekend." Harry sighed. "I'm not going to be able to forget about it."
"Well it doesn't have to be a one time thing you know?" Louis didn't want it to simply stop after one night. He had feelings for Harry that he knew would not go away.
He didn't really like or care for Danielle anymore and even though he wasn't sure if Danielle felt the same or not, as he said before, he didn't care anymore.
"It does though. Danielle is your wife!" He said rather loud then quietened his voice quickly after. "And you have two beautiful sons together. Is that really worth throwing away for a fling with a man like me? I mean, I met you a week ago and.." his voice went even quieter to a whisper. "And we've already slept together."
"If I loved Danielle do you really think I would sleep with you? Like no offence but a couple of years ago I wouldn't have ever looked at another girl, let alone man. There's no love left between us. I want love. And you made me feel loved.." Louis trailed off.
