Kirstin's pov
I took the path that had only two letters. I had to think about it for a while. I knew that power had its costs and nothing was another way of saying death. That's where my logic lied.
I walked through that path for what seemed like hours until I reached a light that I stepped through.
Ayana's pov
Slowly, Kirstin began to wake, groggy. Everyone felt a mix of emotions, joy and relief being the most common ones.
"Kirstin you're OK, " another werewolf said, his name was Oliver and he was leader of the pack that Kirstin belonged to.
"Umm yeah? Why would I not be." She was really arrogant towards him and I didn't like it.
I noticed something at her back
A pair of black stubs were slowly growing on her back."Kirstin look!" I pointed them out "your wings are coming back!"
"Yeah I know. Big deal. Not like I'm an angel or anything, right?"
"Actually," Francis interrupted "an angel is any being that has feathered wings and can fly."
"I have a theory," Mercy thought "try creating some sort of barrier Kirstin. Please."
"Ugh... fine" She groaned and pointer her arms at the door. Sure enough a transparent barrier appeared.
"We don't have the stuff for you to create a potion. However we can say that there is a part of each non-human in you."
I thought for a moment. I knew that Ayana was born and angel, turned to a werewolf and a warlock put into her into her own body. However, I had never heard of her being affected by a witch.
"Hold on." I said "witches are immune to transformation potions. Someone throw one at her."
A witch to my left threw a potion but nothing happened. Kirstin relaxed and walked out of the building with the jacket that hid my wings on.
And I chased after her.
In a world of demons.
Alone.
