"Ashflower! What's going on!" I yowled. "I smell salt!" She yowled. "Where is it coming from? It's burning my nostrils!" Ashflower hissed. Frostpaw stayed close to the group and slowly stalked after a squirrel. She thought of Featherpaw and Wingpaw. Did they become warriors without me? "Frostpaw! This is the third time I've called your name. Come on!" "Sorry," I mewed. I padded away and followed Ashflower to the patch of reeds by the lake. "This is how you catch fish," Ashflower meowed. She saw a fish a killed it swiftly by swiping it with her paw. "Wow!" I mewed briskly. "Try yourself now, Frostpaw." I nodded and waited for a fish. I saw one near the end of the lake and ran to find it. I quickly padded up to it and swiped it with my paw but missed. I landed awkwardly into the water and let out a yowl of defeat. "Ok, so we need to work on that, come on." Ashflower mewed with a mrrow of laughter. I jumped out of the soggy mud and went to find another fish.
The day went on, Frostpaw and Ashflower kept fishing while the others found other land fresh-kill. When we caught enough fish, we stalked back to the temporary camp and ate while we waited for the others to return.
"Your finally back," I mewed to Herbpaw and Rocksoil. They nodded and we kept watch for the others. When we saw them, we started to keep on with our journey. We brought all the fresh-kill we could carry.
"I smell something funny," Herbpaw scowled. I smelt the air and gave a snort of disgust. "Ew!" I snorted. "What's that?" "I don't know yet, Frostpaw." We kept walking in silence until we came across a big thunderpath. That's what it was! I thought. We saw monsters going fast through. We crept close to the ground and silently brushed our fur along the thunderpath. When we were safely across, I let out a hiss of disapproval. "Those stupid monsters don't know what's coming!" I hissed, and turned my back and started to the forest.
