Cheng Hao suddenly felt nothing: tears rolled down his face yet his eyes were now blank. His mind was in tatters, his identity broken into countless small pieces. Only a single memory remained, a single speck he had subconsciously kept aside, focusing on protecting that one fragment with all his might.

Because that one fragment was the one thing that was important to him...

But even then, it was in no way enough to restore a mind that had shattered.

Cheng Hao floated in mid air, his expression blank. Down below, some people were starting to notice something was wrong.

"What's up with him?" Xiao Wu asked anxiously. Fu Yin bit his lips and furrowed his brows but he had no way to respond as he didn't know either.

On the other hand, Lao Jianghu's eyes widened and his mouth gaped "No... This can't be..." he muttered "His mind... Has shattered!"

"What?" Fu Yin and Xiao Wu yelled simultaneously.

"Gahahah, you foolish human!" The aftermath of the black ball of flame's explosion dissipated and Yin Hei's scorched figure was now visible. His whole figure was burned in more than one point, one of his horns was broken and black blood trickled down the corners of his mouth.

His skin cracked and from each crack trickled down black drops of blood. Still, even though his figure was battered like so, his face was twisted into an expression of excitement and joy as his eyes burned with fiery killing intent.

Yin Hei gritted his teeth and spat out a mouthful of black blood, then he flew through the air, aiming at the child's body. As he sped towards Cheng Hao, he felt his cultivation had another breakthrough and was now at the high level Royal stage. He became even happier and he felt as if he had just reached the heavens in one step!

He roared loudly and grabbed Cheng Hao's robes by the collar. He then lifted the child up and looked at his face "You have opposed me for such a short while, yet you still managed to piss me off even more than that Tiger down there!"

The Chaos Dragon grinned and punched Cheng Hao in the guts but, although the boy spat out blood, the child made no sound nor did he retaliate!

Yin Hei's smile grew even wider as he lifted the boy once again, this time examining his face closer: his two golden eyes that had previously shone so bright were now hazy, lifeless like a dead fish's! What's more, their corners were full of tears that were now slowly sliding down his cheek.

Yin Hei stared down at the crowd of people below: they had followed the battle up in the sky without blinking ever since the two opponents had exchanged blows for the first time.

Now though, they were paling and couldn't believe their eyes: that boy, so full of energy just a while ago had suddenly began to mutter strange things, grabbing his head and yelling as if in pain and had finally stopped moving.

After that, Yin Hei had appeared from within the ball of fire, heavily injured, yes, but still alive and ready to destroy some more!

Yin Hei found Lao Jianghu in the middle of the crowd and then yelled "Tiger! Would you mind giving us some insights on what has just happened? It looks like my audience is a bit confused on just what has taken place!"

The old man gritted his teeth as he explained "That shitty snake. He has just used a mental technique that caused Cheng Hao's mind to begin doubting one's self, to see the worst and happiest events that have happened in one's life, inducing to a shattering of the consciousness..."

After hearing that, Xiao Wu, Fu Yin, Sou Rou, Te Rin, Fang Lu, Li Biang... Pretty much everyone who had ties with the young child paled and couldn't believe the words that had just been spoken.
