*Reader's pov*

"Levi honey! I have a surprise for you!" You ran towards him as he finished getting ready for work.

"Sorry I'm running late, I'll see it later." He said as he rushed to put on his coat.

"Oh..ok that's fine!" You fake smiled and handed him his suitcase.

"Oh! I'm going to be late so don't wait up." He said as he fixed his hair in the mirror.

"Oh, ok that's fine. I'll still wait, it's no problem." You still kept your bright smile.

"No its okay just don't worry. I'm late, I'll see you later." He said as he grabbed his suitcase and keys.

"Okay then, I love you Levi." You said.

He stopped and sighed. "Me too. Bye (F/n)." Then he was gone.

You let a frown cross your face. You pushed yourself against the wall and slid down. I miss you Levi. You thought as you placed your head between your knees.

It was true, you missed him. Not how he just left, but the old him. The Levi you fell in love with.

Flashback 4 years ago~

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." You turned to him and he threw you up in the air and kissed you passionately.

"I love you (F/n)(M/n)(L/n)." He said as you touched foreheads.

"I love you too Levi Rivalle Ackerman." You then stood on your tippy toes and kissed him again.

2 months later~

"Babe where should I hang this?" He said as he held up your wedding picture.

"How about in the living room?" You said as you unpacked the final photos and placed them in the hallway.

"Good idea." He hung it up and stepped back to admire the house. "What do you think?" He asked as you walked over to him.

"I love it." You wrapped your arms around his waist and stared into his eyes. "I can't believe we finally got our first home."

"Well believe it baby." He smiled as he hugged you.

"Can I say it now?" You giggled.

"What the heck why not." He chuckled.

"Alright!" You pulled away and smiled as you looked him the eyes. "We're finally home."

"Yes." He leaned down and gave you a gentle, yet passionate kiss. "We finally are."

Another 4 months later~

You paced back and forth impatiently waiting for your husband to get home. Just then he walked through the door.

"Well?" You asked nervously.

"They already have someone." He sighed.

"Oh no. I'm sorry." You frowned a bit.

"Yeah so they're giving me the position of Detective." He smirked.

"You got the job?!" You shouted excitedly.

"I got the job!" He held his arms out open.

"Baby you got the job! Congratulations!" You jumped into his arms and kissed him.

"Thanks love, so what are waiting for? Get dressed." He smiled.

"What for?" You asked confused.
