Andy’s been a while, I wonder if he’s alright, I thought to myself. I left the jump, took out my phone and called him. No signal. Damn. I had a gut feeling something was wrong. I scanned the lonely streets and alleyways in front of me. The rain crashed on the pavement around me; puddles twinkled in the beautiful moonlight, the moonlight that pierced the gloomy clouds towering above me.
I treaded carefully through the flooded street, desperate to find Andy. To the right of me, neon lights splashed around, bouncing off of the floor, excitedly. I cautiously shuffled towards them becoming suddenly aware of a large, dark lump blocking the alley. A body. Ripping off my heels and picking up my now sodden dress, I raced towards it, scraping my damp, dark hair out of my tear-filled eyes…
I fell helplessly to my knees. Panic welled up from inside me; my heart beat suddenly much faster. The smell of blood invaded my nose - I recognised those eyes, those big, brown eyes. It was Andy.
