Summer Love

Chapter 1

~Emma's POV~

I sit antiously next to my sister in the Denver airport. We are waiting for our plane to go to a summer camp for two weeks.

"Now boarding flight 459 to Missouri." a lady's voice rings through the terminal. I grab my bag and walk up to the gate with my sister at my heels. I get my ticket out, and hand it to a lady with a fake smile.
"Welcome aboard." she greets. I smile because the excitement to go to the states is making me overly happy.
I walk onto the plane with a smile plastered to my face. My sister and I take our seats in the buisness section. The plane starts to fill up, but the seat next to me remains empty. Yes, I think. Some peace and quiet. I lean back against my seat and am out before the plane even takes off.

I wake up to my sister shaking me violently. "Wake up. she says kindly but with urgency. You slept through the whole plane ride." I sit up and rub my eyes. I lean over her and look out the window. I see that we are pretty close to the ground, so I guess we must be landing. All I see are green fields. I smile as I feel the plane lurch forward and hear the wheels running on the ground. Were here! I cant contain my excitement. I cant believe Im actually here! I wait what seems like forever until they finally allow us to get off the plane. I practically push through everyone to get off the plane sooner. As I walk through the long walkway leading from the plane to the airport, I feel the humid air slightly seeping in. Its HOT. I power walk into the terminal and my sister is practically chasing me as I try to find baggage claim. We take our bags and a person that works at the summer camp asscorts us to the bus we will take to camp.
