Last day in Stratford

Veronica's POV

I was packing all of my clothes, shoes, makeup etc.

My flight was in 2 days. Tomorrow was my last day in Stratford.

It took me 4 hours to pack. I had shit loads of clothes. I haven't told Anna, Marcus or Josh

about me moving. I texted them, we could all have a sleepover, so I'll get to spend time with them.

To:Anna, Josh, Marcus

Aye guys, up for a sleepover? Got some serious news to tell you...

they instantly responded saying 'yes, be there in 10'

I gathered my suitcases into one corner and slipped on my PJ's. I went downstairs and got a movie

and popcorn ready.

I grabbed my phone and texted Justin.

To: Justin<3

Expect the unexpected...

I smirked at his response.

I went on Twitter

My mentions filled up. Everyone was freaking out.

I went on Instagram and stalked Justin.

He recently posted a picture of me and him. The caption said: Miss her<3

Aww.

My thoughts were interrupted by a door bell.

I ran to the door and opened it.

"Hey Veron!" Anna, Josh and Marcus said.

"Hey guys!"

We went downstairs and watched 'insidious'

In the middle of the movie, Josh spoke up

"So Veronica, what did you wanna tell us...?

I completely forgot.

Anna and Marcus faced me.

"So you guys know how Scooter signed me, well I'm going to be starting a new album."

"Veronica! That's great!" Anna squealed.

"And I'm moving to LA, tomorrow is the last day I'm here..." I said quietly.

They looked at me blankly.

"Your moving to LA. To start your career?" Marcus said.

I nodded.

"Wow, congratulations! I'm happy for you!" Marcus said

"That's great Veron, imma miss you!" Josh said.

Anna's eyes got watery.

"Aww, your leaving... I'll visit you." She said and sobbed.

I hugged her.

We continued watching the movie.

When it was finished, I turned the TV off.

"How about we go out for dinner tomorrow night?" I asked.

They agreed.

We talked for a bit, but then we got tired and fell asleep.


"VERONICA JADE WAKE UP!" Someone yelled.

I groaned and buried my face in my pillow.

"WAKE UP YOU RETARD!"

I didn't move

5 minutes later, someone poured cold water all over me.

I screamed and immediately got up.

"You FUCKTARD!" I yelled at Josh.

Marcus and Anna were laughing their heads off.

I rolled my eyes and giggled.

I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I slipped on black ripped jeans, with a plain white t-shirt, a

leather jacket, converse and a black beanie.

"Let's go for some hot chocolate!" I said.

We went outside and got into my Black Escalade.

We drove to esquires and drank hot chocolate and shared laughs. I'm gonna miss this.

"Remember the time when Veronica pushed Marcus into a bookshelf and he started crying?" Anna said.

We laughed. I remembered that.

"And we kept calling him a drama queen." Josh said. We all laughed.

"And how we push each other into random strangers!" Marcus said.

We all chuckled, that was like our tradition.

"Holy crap, remember when I gave Marcus a condom for his birthday?" I said.

We all laughed our heads off.

It was getting dark, I texted my parents, so they could meet us at the restaurant

To: Dad

Hey dad, meet me at white spot with mom. I wanna spend my last night together. Marcus, Anna and Josh are gonna be there too!

From: Veronica

He responded with an 'ok'

We all stood up.

"Leggo!" I yelled, causing a few people to give me weird stares.

We left the shop and drove.

'Clique' came on and we all started rapping.

"AINT NOBODY FUCKING WITH MY MOTHERFUCKIN CLIQUE CLIQUE CLIQUE!" I screamed.

We all laughed and arrived at white spot.

My parents were there and we joined them. My friends greeted my parents and we sat down.

The waitress came and took our order, we all talked until our food came.


We finally finished eating and the waitress placed the bill on the table.

I grabbed it.

"Veronica..." My dad said firmly.

"Oh come on! This is my last day in Stratford! This one is on me! My treat" I said and placed a

$100.00 bill and left. We drove back home and everyone gathered their things from the sleepover.

I dropped everyone home. We all said goodbye and hugged. I drove home in silence, a few tears

streamed down my face. I was really going to miss them.
