SUNNY
"No!"
I fell to my knees. No. No. No.
Everything was a blur. It all happened so fast, I couldn't even think before I heard the gun shots. My heart beat rapidly. Sweat dripped heavily from my brow as I laid there on the ground.
Get up.
I had to get up. My head pounded. My heart ached.
I finally got to my feat and stumbled over to her.
"Brandi get up! Please!"
Tears streamed down my face. I couldn't stop crying.
My Bestfriend.
Shot.

ARMANI
"No!"
It all happened in slow motion. Andrew pulled his gun. Brandi walked out on the porch. She screamed for her bestfriend. Then screamed again when the bullet hit.
I started sobbing. Sobbing.
I ran over to Brandi, laying on her porch with Sunny hovering over her. "Baby get up." I mumbled to myself. I couldn't speak any louder. I picked up her head and set it in my lap. "Come on baby, come on."

ANDREW
POP! POP!
"No!"
I shot him. I blocked out everything else and pulled my trigger. I ignored Sunny telling me to stop. I ignored the foot steps approaching me from behind, which I knew belonged to Armani.
I looked over to the steps and saw them. My family. Crying. Sobbing.
Hurting.
A body lay in the street by the curb. My lip curled up. I walked my way over to the hooded figure that held a gun to my girl's head not a minute before. I bent down and turned his face towards me.
"Tron?"

SUNNY
I hated hospitals. The beeping and people coughing all over the place and the crying. Ugh. I hated being here. Not to mention the circumstances that caused me to be here. I still can't even process everything that had happened.

"Detective." I heard Andrew say, standing up and nodding at a man that had approached us. "Hello. What's you name again, Sir?"
"Andrew. And this is my girlfriend Sunny."
He gave me a slight smile then turned back to Andrew. "I understand you have a brother." he said, pulling out a small notepad and a pen.
"Yes.. but he's not doing so well right now." After we got to the hospital, Armani had flipped over a table and a few chairs, then punched a wall and broke his hand. He was crying uncontrollably and the nurses had to drag him to the back.

"Alright, well I want to ask you both a few questions. He turned and motioned for us to follow him. I grabbed my purse and phone then followed him out. He led us to a small clearing right outside the hospital.

ANDREW
"Ok. First, can I get an account of what happened from both of you?" Me and Sunny both nodded. I quickly told all I knew, and that wasn't really much. I showed up at the end of everything when I should of been there to protect my family.

Sunny entangled her fingers with mine and laid her head on my shoulder. She was staying strong, but I knew she was tore upon the inside and would most likely buss out crying later. When I finished up my story, leaned back  against the bench we sat on and sighed. She rubbed my back.

"Sunny?" the detective asked. "What about you. What's your account of the incident?"
Sunny took a deep breath as the detective turned to another sheet in his notepad.
"I left my house and made my way to Taco Bell, after talking with Brandi. I had a small argument with one of the workers there." The detective raised an eyebrow. "It was nothing major." Sunny assured him. " After I got my food," she continued, "I walked out of Taco Bell and around the corner. That when this.. um.. Mystery Man or whatever the hell we're calling him, came up behind me, pointed a gun at my head, and told me to walk." I clenched my fist. Just imagining that happening to my girl was making me mad. "Go on." the detective urged.
"We walked all the way to Brandi's house and sat out there for at least 20 minutes." Sunny said. "Then, all at once, Armani and Andrew pulled up and Brandi walked out of the house with the girls."

"And that's when the shooting happened?" The detective asked. "Yes." Sunny replied, starting to shake her leg steadily. That was something she did when she was hella nervous. "It's ok." I whispered in her ear. She calmed down a little. "So, when will I be able to find out who he is." Sunny asked the detective.
I closed my eyes and breathed deep.
"Well. I'm not sur-" the detective started.
"I know who it was." I said, cutting him off. He turned towards me and Sunny furrowed her eyebrows.
"Who?" They both asked at the same time.
"Tron."
ARMANI
"Well, that's all we know right now." The policewoman said. I nodded my head slowly, staring at my bandaged hand. "I'm sorry." She gave me a sympathetic look and left the room. She had just told me everything they knew about the incident. When the shots rang out, the crazy nigga, who had Sunny, shot Brandi and Andrew shot him. They still weren't sure who he was. I was still trying to figure out why the hell not, they the police.

Being in this hospital room was killing me. I needed to be with my girl. I wasn't the one who just got shot. They told me the bullet hit her in her stomach area, barely missing her major organs. She just got out of surgery.

There was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said lowly. The door opened slowly and in walked Sunny and Andrew. "Hey." Sunny said with a soft smile on her face. She sat next to me on the bed and picked up the food menu. Me and Andrew laughed "Always hungry." he mumbled. "I don't even know why they gave me that. It's not like I'm bout to be here over night."  Sunny shook her head "Boy, this food look good." she said, picking up the phone dialing the cafeteria.

I chuckled and turned back to Andrew. "So wassup man." I said. "Did y'all hear anything?"
"Nah, man." he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Damn, so we don't even know who the nigga was? Crazy."
"Oh, we know who that is." said Andrew, pulling a chair up to my bed. "Who?" I basically yelled. I sat up in my bed and threw my legs over the side. Andrew was just sitting there, looking down and shaking his head. "Who was it, nigga!"
"Damn man, it was Tron."

BRANDI

"Just drink this juice and I'll see about getting you some real food, suga." I laughed, even though it hurt to. "Thank you, Mrs.Parker."
"Oh, don't worry bout it, chile." She patted my head and left the room. I sighed, looking at my surroundings. The doctors say the surgery went extremely well, so I would only have to be in the hospital for a week or two.

I started to dose off to sleep when I heard my door open. "Bestie!" Sunny screamed, pushing Andrew and Armani out of the way to get to me. She hugged me tight around my neck, being cautious. I dropped a few tears and hugged her back as best as I could. She wiped the few tears that had fallen from her eyes and moved away from the hug. "Try these bomb ass cheese fries, girl." she said. I laughed, along with the boys who stood by the door. I picked up a cheese fry and popped it in my mouth. I nodded my head "Fye."

Andrew walked over and hugged me. "You good, sis?" He asked, looking at me with a concerned look in his eyes. I nodded my head and smiled. He smiled back and went to go sit in the corner with Sunny.

I looked over towards the door and saw Armani looking with his head down.
"Armani." I called softly. He slowly raised his head and looked me in my eyes. He looked so shaken and sad. I opened my arms, beckoning him towards me. He walked over to me, kicked his shoes off, and climbed in the bed with me. Before I could even speak, he hugged me tightly. "Don't scare me like that again." he whispered. I felt my shoulder grow wet where his head was rested. I started crying again because Armani never cried. Ever. "I won't baby." I breathed, rubbing his back.
"I won't."
