I stared out my dorm window and sighed. I loved Hogwarts so much, it was my home away from home. However I was different from my classmates, not only was I in the minority of being muggleborn, I was also American. Infact, I was the only American in the whole school. Many people thought I was sweet and wholesome as mom's apple pie ( Since I was from America ) even though I was actually from Boston, one of the toughest cities in the U.S ( maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but still ). As great as it was to have an image.. I missed my home. I couldn't fly home for every holiday and my parents couldn't fly here for every holiday as well. I obviously saw them for Christmas and other big holidays.. But some just weren't worth it. When those kind of holidays came though I could always count on my Weasleys. The Weasleys were the sweetest, kindest, ginger family around, every single one of them had welcomed me with open arms. Today though, even Molly Weasley's famous apple pie couldn't make me smile. I just missed my mom and dad so much... I really missed my dog too... he unfortunately wasn't allowed to come with me. I pressed my face against the cool glass of the window and stared out at the Quidditch field. There was the soft pitter patter of rain hitting the window but other than that it was silent. I started thinking about writing a letter to my family but then eventually figured it would just make me feel even worse. Suddenly I felt an arm around my shoulder.
" Why the sad face love? " I heard a cute English voice ask. I looked up to see an adorable teenage face, complete with fiery red hair. I immediately recognized the half of the Weasley twin duo. Some people couldn't tell the difference between George and Fred, but I immediately knew it was Fred.
" Oh Freddie.. I...I just miss my home! " I sobbed as he pulled me closer.
" I know ( Y/N ) I know... but at least you have my family.. And you definitely have me!"  This immediately started making me cry harder, but this time it was because I felt so blessed to have someone like Fred in my life.
