Chapter 3: Typical Dallas Winston

Dally's POV;

"Hey Dal. Here comes your sister." Ponyboy pointed out. "No shit, Sherlock." I snapped. Pony glared at me. I turned to leave. Savannah grabbed my arm. "Aren't you gonna talk to her?" she asked. "No." I mumbled. Savannah looked at me in disbelief. "You have to! She came all this way to see you!" I glared at her. "I didn't ask her to come here! Hell, I couldn't careless if she was here or not!" I said angrily. "Your unbelievable." Savannah shook her head & walked away. I felt this strange feeling in my stomach. Was that guilt?

Savannah's POV:

God. Dally just makes me so mad! Two-Bit was happy to see me when I showed up, Dally doesn't even care that his sister came all this way to see him. I don't know how they all deal with him. He always seems so moody & angry. He always hits on girls too. "You okay, Savannah?" Someone asked coming up behind me. I turned around to see Ponyboy looking at me worriedly. "Yeah. But I got a question for ya, Pony." "And what's that?" Pony replied. "How do you deal with Dallas?!" I cried. Ponyboy laughed. "He's an okay guy, Savannah. You just got to get to know him better." I rolled my eyes. That wouldn't be happening.

A few days later I walked over to the Curtis house with Two-Bit. Dally and I hadn't spoken in about four days. "You sure you want to come? You don't have to." Two-Bit said. "No it's fine. I just need to get this over with." I walked in the house and the first person I saw was none other then Dally Winston. "Hey Savannah.". He smiled slightly. "Hi, Dally." I said shortly. "What's going on here?" Steve smirked at us. "Nothing asshole! shut up!" Dally snapped. Steve rolled his eyes and walked away. "Can I talk to you, Savannah?" Dally asked. He looked around at everyone else who was staring at us. "Alone.". I looked around at everyone else. "Okay." Dally grabbed my hand & pulled me out onto the porch.
