"What lesson do we have next?''
I asked.
"Im not sure, let me get out my planner at least child"
She said In that awfully sarcastic motherly tone.
"whatever Trevor" my response was.
"ah" Anwen said in a worrying tone.
"what? Is something wrong?" I said worryingly.
"yes, it's terrible, I am so sorry candy, we have.....ENGLISH"
I gave her a tap on the head and she looked at me and smiled.
"I actually like English" I protested.
"yeah yeah yeah I know, but I hate it. My teachers a mess and so is everyone in her class. Apart from me, obviously I am great" Anwen said.
"obviously" I replied.
By that time we had made it to out classes and we were shocked to find out that anwens teacher was Ill so she had to combine mine and her lesson together! We were pleased since we were in no classes together apart from Maths, and although it wasn't permanent, we decided to make the most of it! We spoke to each other throughout the whole lesson, sharing sweets and lollipops and whispering gossip until Anwen had one of her 'magic' ideas.
"I have a plan" she whispered excitedly.
"what is it now b" I answerd.
She pulled out 2 boxes of hair dye, (which by the way looked quite expensive) one the colour of a carribean sea blue and the other the most beautiful shade of candyfloss pink.
"so what d'ya think" she grinned.
"I think yes b, when shall we do it?" I said.
"wow hang on, you do know I'm having blue - like bubblegum, I thought you would like this candyfloss pink?" she questioned.
"I love it" I said with a smile and gave her a big bear hug!
"okay then, come to mine tonight, my mums out with dad so we can do it then, but what would your mum say?"
"well, let's ask, I don't want to make her angry, is It permenant or semi?" I asked.
"oh only semi, mum would kill me if it was permenant!" she cooed.
So I slid my new phone out of my pocket and quickly text my mum under the table -
"hey mum,
I know this is random but B is asking if I can stay over hers tonight, and she will dye my hair semi permenant pink?
Cheers - Lau xxxxxxx"
I almost immediately had a response -
"yes okay, just don't skip school tomorrow, your hair will look Lovely I look forward to seeing it! Xxxxxxx"
"GET IN THERE!" I screamed, forgetting I was in a class.... with people looking at me.
"sorry" I said sheepishly, "mum says yes" I whispered to anwen nearly crying with laughter.
Just then, the home bell went and I couldn't wait to get to Anwens house, that colour looked most beautiful.
Anwen handed me a candyfloss lollipop and said "come on then, let's get going!" then we linked arms and waltzed out of the school eating lollipops and carrying hair dye....
